o you enwrapped in the cloak (of prophethood),
އޭ ފޭރާންތައް (ގައިކޮޅުގައި) އޮޅުއްވައިގެން އޮންނެވި ކަލޭގެފާނެވެ!

"and let him share my task (of conveying allah's message and prophethood),
އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކަންތަކުގައި (އެބަހީ: رسول ކަމާއި، އެކަން تبليغ ކުރެއްވުމުގެ مسـئولية ގައި) އެކަލޭގެފާނު ބައިވެރިކުރައްވާނދޭވެ!

and we did certainly give the children of israel the scripture and judgement and prophethood, and we provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮތާއި، حكمة އާއި، ނަބީކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތިން އެއުރެންނަށް رزق ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި (އެދުވަސްވަރުގެ) عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް އެއުރެން މާތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

certainly we gave the children of israel the book, judgement and prophethood and we provided them with all the good things. we gave them an advantage over all the nations,
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮތާއި، حكمة އާއި، ނަބީކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތިން އެއުރެންނަށް رزق ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި (އެދުވަސްވަރުގެ) عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް އެއުރެން މާތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

and he found you unaware (of the quran, its legal laws, and prophethood, etc.) and guided you?
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު حيران ވެވަޑައިގެންވަނިކޮށް، އެކަލާނގެ ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވޮޑިގަތެވެ. ދެން އެކަލާނގެ ކަލޭގެފާނަށް މަގުދެއްކެވިއެވެ.

and indeed we gave the descendants of israel the book, and the rule, and the prophethood, and gave good things for sustenance and gave them superiority over all others of their time.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮތާއި، حكمة އާއި، ނަބީކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތިން އެއުރެންނަށް رزق ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި (އެދުވަސްވަރުގެ) عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް އެއުރެން މާތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

and we gave him isaac and jacob, and we ordained among his descendants prophethood and the book, and we gave him his reward in this world, and in the hereafter he will indeed be among the righteous.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް (އެބަހީ: إبراهيم ގެފާނަށް) إسحاق ގެފާނު ދެއްވައި އަދި (ކާފަދަރިކަލުން) يعقوب ގެފާނު ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކޮޅުގައި ނަބީކަމާއި (وحى ގެ) ފޮތް ލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ދުނިޔޭގައި ހެޔޮ ދަރުމަ ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނު، آخرة ގައި ވަނީ صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and verily we gave the children of israel the scripture and the command and the prophethood, and provided them with good things and favoured them above (all) peoples;
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮތާއި، حكمة އާއި، ނަބީކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތިން އެއުރެންނަށް رزق ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި (އެދުވަސްވަރުގެ) عالم ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް އެއުރެން މާތްކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

and we bestowed ishaq and yaqub to him, and kept the prophethood and the book among his descendants, and we gave him his reward in the world; and in the hereafter he is indeed among those who deserve our proximity.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް (އެބަހީ: إبراهيم ގެފާނަށް) إسحاق ގެފާނު ދެއްވައި އަދި (ކާފަދަރިކަލުން) يعقوب ގެފާނު ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކޮޅުގައި ނަބީކަމާއި (وحى ގެ) ފޮތް ލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ދުނިޔޭގައި ހެޔޮ ދަރުމަ ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނު، آخرة ގައި ވަނީ صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and we bestowed on him isaac and jacob, and we established the prophethood and the scripture among his seed, and we gave him his reward in the world, and lo! in the hereafter he verily is among the righteous.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް (އެބަހީ: إبراهيم ގެފާނަށް) إسحاق ގެފާނު ދެއްވައި އަދި (ކާފަދަރިކަލުން) يعقوب ގެފާނު ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކޮޅުގައި ނަބީކަމާއި (وحى ގެ) ފޮތް ލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ދުނިޔޭގައި ހެޔޮ ދަރުމަ ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަލޭގެފާނު، آخرة ގައި ވަނީ صالح ންގެ ތެރެއިންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

"our lord! send amongst them a messenger of their own (and indeed allah answered their invocation by sending muhammad peace be upon him), who shall recite unto them your verses and instruct them in the book (this quran) and al-hikmah (full knowledge of the islamic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or prophethood, etc.), and sanctify them.
އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! އަދި އެ أمّة ގެ މީހުންނަށް އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ކިޔަވައިދެއްވާ، حكمة އާއި ފޮތް އުނގަންނައިދެއްވާ އަދި (އެންމެހާ ނުބައިގޮތްތަކުން) އެ أمّة طاهر ކުރައްވާނޭ رسول އަކު، އެ أمّة ގެ ތެރެއިން، އެ أمّة ގެ ތެރެޔަށް ފޮނުއްވައިފާނދޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެއީ عزيز ވަންތަ، حكيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
