and as for 'aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind
އަދި عاد ބާގައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ގަދަފަދަ ފިނިވަޔަކުން އެއުރެން ހަލާކު ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

we unleashed upon them a screaming wind, on a day of unrelenting misery.
ދެމިހުންނަނިވި ސުންޕާކަމުގެ ދުވަހެއްގައި ގަދަ އަޑާއި، ގަދަ ފިނީގެ ވަޔެއް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ.

indeed, we sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune,
ދެމިހުންނަނިވި ސުންޕާކަމުގެ ދުވަހެއްގައި ގަދަ އަޑާއި، ގަދަ ފިނީގެ ވަޔެއް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ.

if we will, we can drown them—with no screaming to be heard from them, nor will they be saved.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، އެއުރެން غرق ކުރައްވައިފާހުށީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެހިނދު، އެއުރެންނަށް އެހީވާނެ ފަރާތެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އަދި ސަލާމަތްކުރައްވާނޭ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި އެއުރެން ނުމެވޭމެއެވެ.

so his wife came screaming, and striking her forehead cried, “what! for a barren old woman?”
ފަހެ (އެ އުފާވެރި خبر އައްސަވައި) އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަނބިކަނބަލުން ހަޅޭއްފުޅުލައްވަމުން ވަޑައިގަތެވެ. އަދި އެކަމަނާގެ މޫނުފުޅުގައި ތަޅުއްވަމުން ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. (އަހުރެންނީ) ދަރިމައިނުވާ މުސްކުޅިއަކީމެވެ. (އަހުރެންނަށް ދަރިޔަކު ލިބޭނީ ކިހިނަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟)

so we sent upon them a screaming wind during days of misfortune to make them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life; but the punishment of the hereafter is more disgracing, and they will not be helped.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ސުންޕާދުވަސްތަކެއްގައި، ގަދަ އަޑާއި، ގަދަ ފިނީގެ ވަޔެއް ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ. ދުނިޔޭގެ حياة ގައި ނިކަމެތިކަމުގެ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްކެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގެ عذاب ގެ ނިކަމެތިކަން މާބޮޑެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަކަށް نصر އެއް ނުލިބޭނެތެވެ.

the parable of those who disbelieve is that of someone who calls upon someone who hears nothing except screaming and yelling. deaf, dumb, and blind—they do not understand.
كافر ވި މީހުން (ނަށް دين އަށް ގޮވާލާ މީހާ) ގެ مثال އީ (އެބަހީ: كافر ންނަށް رسول އާ ގޮވާލައްވާ ގޮވާލެއްވުމަށް ނިސްބަތްކޮށް ބަލާއިރު އެއުރެންނާއި رسول އާގެ مثال އީ) ގޮވުމެއް ނުވަތަ ހަޅޭއްލެވުމެއްގެ އަޑުނޫނީ ނީވޭ ޖަނަވާރަށް ގޮވާ މީހާގެ مثال އެވެ. އެ كافر ންނީ ބީރު، މަންމަން، ކަނު ބަޔެކެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަކަށް ނުވިސްނެއެވެ.

and the example of the disbelievers is similar to one who calls upon one that hears nothing except screaming and yelling; deaf, dumb, blind – so they do not have sense.
كافر ވި މީހުން (ނަށް دين އަށް ގޮވާލާ މީހާ) ގެ مثال އީ (އެބަހީ: كافر ންނަށް رسول އާ ގޮވާލައްވާ ގޮވާލެއްވުމަށް ނިސްބަތްކޮށް ބަލާއިރު އެއުރެންނާއި رسول އާގެ مثال އީ) ގޮވުމެއް ނުވަތަ ހަޅޭއްލެވުމެއްގެ އަޑުނޫނީ ނީވޭ ޖަނަވާރަށް ގޮވާ މީހާގެ مثال އެވެ. އެ كافر ންނީ ބީރު، މަންމަން، ކަނު ބަޔެކެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަކަށް ނުވިސްނެއެވެ.

so we unleashed upon them a screaming wind, for a few miserable days, to make them taste the punishment of shame in this life; but the punishment of the hereafter is more shameful; and they will not be saved.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ސުންޕާދުވަސްތަކެއްގައި، ގަދަ އަޑާއި، ގަދަ ފިނީގެ ވަޔެއް ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ. ދުނިޔޭގެ حياة ގައި ނިކަމެތިކަމުގެ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްކެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގެ عذاب ގެ ނިކަމެތިކަން މާބޮޑެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަކަށް نصر އެއް ނުލިބޭނެތެވެ.
