and make denial thereof your livelihood?
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް رزق ދެއްވިކަމުގެ މައްޗަށްކުރާ شكر އަކީ (އެ رزق ދެއްވި ރަސްކަލާނގެ) ދޮގުކުރުން ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަދަމުއެވެ.

and he feared not the consequence thereof
އަދި އެ عذاب ގެ ނަތީޖާއާމެދު، އެކަލާނގެ ބިރުވެތިވެވޮޑިގެނެއްނުވެއެވެ.

and he does not fear the consequence thereof.
އަދި އެ عذاب ގެ ނަތީޖާއާމެދު، އެކަލާނގެ ބިރުވެތިވެވޮޑިގެނެއްނުވެއެވެ.

and other torments, like thereof, conjoined.
އަދި އެފަދަ އެތައްބާވަތެއްގެ އެހެނިހެން عذاب އެއުރެންނަށް ހުށްޓެވެ.

that thereof you may thread ways, ravines."
(އެއީ) އެބިމުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތަނަވަސް މަގުތައް ހޯދައިގަތުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

on that day she will tell out the tidings thereof.
އެދުވަހުން އެ ބިންގަނޑު، އޭގެ خبر ތަކުގެ ވާހަކަ ދައްކާނެތެވެ.

and admixture thereof will be water of tasnim:
އެއާ އެއްކުރައްވާފައިވަނީ تسنيم އެވެ.

and ye will come in time to know the truth thereof.
ހިނދުކޮޅެއްގެފަހުން އޭގެ خبر (އެބަހީ: އެއީ ތެދުކަން) ނިކަންހުރެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގޭހުށްޓެވެ.

and he (allah) feared not the consequences thereof.
އަދި އެ عذاب ގެ ނަތީޖާއާމެދު، އެކަލާނގެ ބިރުވެތިވެވޮޑިގެނެއްނުވެއެވެ.

and as to the favour of thine lord discourse thou thereof.
އަދި ދަންނާށެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެއްވި نعمة ގެ ވާހަކައިން، ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ވާހަކަ ދައްކަވައި އުޅުއްވާށެވެ!

ask then, which of them will stand thereof a surety?
ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނާ سؤال ކުރައްވައި ބައްލަވާށެވެ! އެއުރެންކުރެ އެކަމަށް ޖާމިނުވާހުށީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟

and inspired it with the wickedness thereof and the piety thereof,
ފަހެ، އެކަލާނގެ އެ نفس އަށް (ގެއްލުންހުރި) ނުބައިގޮތާއި (ފައިދާހުރި) ހެޔޮގޮތް އެނގުމުގެ ވިސްނުން ދެއްވިއެވެ.

then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ، ތެދުބުނާބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، އެފަދަ قرآن އަކާއިގެން އައިސްބަލާށެވެ!

and assuredly we have left thereof manifest sign for a people who reflect.
އަދި އެކަމުގެ ތެރެއިން بيان ވެގެންވާ ހެތްކެއް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ވިސްނާ ބަޔަކަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދޫކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

and ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season.
ހިނދުކޮޅެއްގެފަހުން އޭގެ خبر (އެބަހީ: އެއީ ތެދުކަން) ނިކަންހުރެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގޭހުށްޓެވެ.

and he made dark the night thereof, and he brought forth the morn thereof.
އަދި އެ އުޑުގެ ރޭގަނޑު އަނދިރިކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެ އުޑުގެ ދުވާލު ފާޅުކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

and the earth have we laid out, how gracious is the spreader (thereof)!
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބިންގަނޑު ފެތުރުއްވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، ތަންމައްޗެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި (ބިންގަނޑު) ފެތުރުއްވި ރަސްކަލާނގެ މޮޅުކަމާއެވެ!

and thy lord is not one to destroy cities wrongously while the inhabitants thereof are rectifiers.
ރަށްތަކުގެ أهل ވެރިން ރަނގަޅަށް ކަންތައްކުރާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވަނިކޮށް، އަނިޔާވެރިގޮތުގައި އެ ރަށްތައް ހަލާކު ކުރެއްވުމަކަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދައެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ.

allah exhorteth you lest ye may ever revert to the like thereof, if ye are believers indeed.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ مؤمن ން ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، އެފަދަކަމަކަށް ދުވަަހަކުވެސް އެނބުރި ނުދިއުމަށް اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް وعظ އިއްވަވަތެވެ.

and lo! they verily must eat thereof, and fill (their) bellies therewith.
ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނީ އެއިންކާނޭ ބަޔަކުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި އެއިން ބަނޑުތައް ފުރާނޭ ބަޔެކެވެ.
