wherefore obey not thou the beliers.
ފަހެ، ދޮގުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!

so, wherefore do they not believe?
އެއުރެން إيمان ނުވަނީ ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ކީއްވެގެން ހެއްޔެވެ؟

wherefore have warned you of fire flaming,
ފަހެ، އަނދައަނދާހުރި ނަރަކައިގެ ވާހަކައިން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް إنذار ކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

wherefore pray thou unto thy lord, and sacrifice.
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ނަމާދު ކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި قربان ކުރައްވާށެވެ!

wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްވުރެ އެމީހާއާ (އެބަހީ: މަރުވާ މީހާއާ) ގާތްކަންބޮޑީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް ނުފެނެތެވެ.

wherefore we saved him and his entire family
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނާއި، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أهل ވެރި އެންމެން ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

wherefore announce thou unto them a torment afflictive.
ފަހެ، ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب ހުރިކަމުގެ ވާހަކައިން ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނަށް خبر ދެއްވާށެވެ!

deaf, dumb, blind; wherefore they will not return.
(އެއުރެންނީ) ބީރު ބަޔެކެވެ. މަންމަން ބަޔެކެވެ. ކަނު ބަޔެކެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން (حق ގެ މަގަކަށް) رجوع އެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.

wherefore hallow thou the name of thy lord, the mighty.
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރި މާތްވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ اسم ފުޅުން ކަލޭގެފާނު تسبيح ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ!

wherefore hallow thou the name of thy lord, the mighty!
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ގެ ވެރި، މާތްވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ اسم ފުޅުން ކަލޭގެފާނު تسبيح ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ!

wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing.
ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު، يتيم ކުއްޖާ ނިކަމެތިކޮށް ނުލައްވާށެވެ!

o you who believe, wherefore do you say what you do not?
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުކުރާ ކަންތަކުގެ ވާހަކަ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނެއުޅެނީ ކީއްވެގެން ހެއްޔެވެ؟

no god is there but he! wherefore take him for thy trustee.
(އެއީ) مشرق އާއި، مغرب ގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ ފިޔަވައި އެހެން إله އަކު ނުވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، وكيل އަކު ކަމުގައި ކަލޭގެފާނު އެކަލާނގެ خيار ކުރައްވާށެވެ!

and he set it before them, and said: wherefore eat ye not?
ދެން އެ މެހުމާނުންނާއި، އޭތި ކައިރިކޮށްލައްވައި ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުކާނޫހެއްޔެވެ؟

we! it is we who created you: wherefore confess ye not?
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެއްދެވީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތެދުނުކުރަނީ ކީއްވެހެއްޔެވެ؟

and assuredly ye have fully known the first production wherefore heed ye not?
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ފުރަތަމަ އުފެއްދެވުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގިފައިވެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަނުކުރަނީ ކީއްވެހެއްޔެވެ؟

and the prostrations are for allah; wherefore call not along with allah anyone.
އަދި މިސްކިތްތައް ވަނީ اللَّه އަށެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އާއެކު އެހެން އެއްވެސް ފަރާތަކަށް އަޅުކަން ނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ!

assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންކުރެން ގިނަމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ކޯފާގެ ބަސްފުޅު حق ވެއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން إيمان އެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.

and yet assuredly he hath led astray of you a great multitude. wherefore reflect ye not?
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެ شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ގިނަބަޔަކު މަގުފުރައްދައިފިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ވިސްނާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވަމުހެއްޔެވެ؟

and they wronged themselves. wherefore we made them by words and dispersed them with a total dispersion.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން (دعاء ކޮށް) ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޯއެވެ! އަޅަމެންގެ ދަތުރުތަކުގެ ދެމެދުތައް މިއަށްވުރެން ދުރުކުރައްވައިފާނދޭވެ! އަދި އެއުރެން، އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް އަނިޔާވެރިވޫއެވެ. ދެންފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ (މީސްތަކުންގެ މެދުގައި) ދެކެވޭ ވާހަކަތަކެއް ކަމުގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި އެތަންމިތަނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ވަކިކުރައްވައި ވިއްސިވިހާލި ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަމުގައި ބޮޑަށް ކެތްތެރިވެ، ގިނަގިނައިން شكر ވެރިވާ ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށް ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
