and perform the prayer at the two ends of the day and nigh of the night; surely the good deeds will drive away the evil deeds. that is a remembrance unto the mindful.

so be patient with anything they may say and glorify your lord with his praise before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and glorify him in the hours of the night and at the beginning and end of the day, so that you may find comfort.
sai ka yi haƙuri a kan abin da suke cẽwa, kuma ka yi tasbĩhi da gõdẽ wa ubangijinka a gabãnin fitõwar rãnã da gabãnin ɓacẽwarta, kuma daga sã'õ'in dare sai ka yi tasbĩhi da sãsannin yini, tsammãninka zã ka sãmi yarda.

and keep the prayer established at the two ends of the day and in some parts of the night; indeed good deeds wipe out the evil deeds; this is an advice to those who heed it.

so bear patiently with what they say. glorify your lord, praising him before sunrise and before sunset, and in the watches of the night, and glorify him and at the ends of the day that you may attain to happiness.

disbelievers (will be told on the day of judgment), "do not make any excuses on this day; you are only receiving recompense for what you have done".
kada ku kãwo wani uzuri a yau. anã yi muku sakamakon abin da kuka kasance kunã aikatãwa kawai ne.

and a party of the people of the scripture say: "believe in the morning in that which is revealed to the believers (muslims), and reject it at the end of the day, so that they may turn back.
kuma wata ƙungiya daga mutãnen littãfi ta ce: "ku yi ĩmãni da abin da aka saukar a kan waɗanda suka yi ĩmãni (da muhammadu) a farkon yini, kuma ku kãfirta a ƙarshensa; tsammãninsu, zã su kõmõ."

and were those who did wrong to own all that is in the earth, and there with as much again, they shall surely seek to ransom themselves therewith from the evil of the torment on the day of judgment; and there shall appear unto them from allah that whereon they had not been reckoning,
kuma dã waɗanda suka yi zãlunci sunã da abin da ke cikin ƙasã gaba ɗaya, da misãlinsa a tãre da shi lalle dã sun yi fansa da shi daga mummunar azãba, a rãnar ¡iyãma. kuma abin da ba su kasance sunã zato ba, daga allah, ya bayyana a gare su.

(muhammad), have patience with what they say, glorify your lord, and always praise him before sunrise, sunset, in some hours of the night and at both the beginning and end of the day, so that perhaps you will please your lord.

and a party of the followers of the book say: avow belief in that which has been revealed to those who believe, in the first part of the day, and disbelieve at the end of it, perhaps they go back on their religion.
kuma wata ƙungiya daga mutãnen littãfi ta ce: "ku yi ĩmãni da abin da aka saukar a kan waɗanda suka yi ĩmãni (da muhammadu) a farkon yini, kuma ku kãfirta a ƙarshensa; tsammãninsu, zã su kõmõ."

a section of the people of the book say: "believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers, but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) turn back;
kuma wata ƙungiya daga mutãnen littãfi ta ce: "ku yi ĩmãni da abin da aka saukar a kan waɗanda suka yi ĩmãni (da muhammadu) a farkon yini, kuma ku kãfirta a ƙarshensa; tsammãninsu, zã su kõmõ."

and you are free (from sin, to punish the enemies of islam on the day of the conquest) in this city (makkah).
