it does not allow anyone to live, and neither does it leave anyone to die;
bã ta ragẽwa, kuma bã ta bari.

they have said, "the only life is this worldly life and here we shall live and die.
kuma suka ce: "bãbu kõme fãce rãyuwarmu ta dũniya; munã mutuwa kuma munã rãyuwa (da haihuwa) kuma bãbu abin da ke halaka mu sai zãmani."

there is nothing but our life in this world. we die, and we live, and we are not resurrected.
"rãyuwa ba ta zama ba fãce rãyuwarmu ta dũniya, munã mutuwa kuma munã rãyuwa, kuma ba mu zama waɗanda ake tãyarwa ba."

there is naught but our life in this world; we die and we live and we shall not be raised again.
"rãyuwa ba ta zama ba fãce rãyuwarmu ta dũniya, munã mutuwa kuma munã rãyuwa, kuma ba mu zama waɗanda ake tãyarwa ba."

allah said: therein ye shall live and therein ye shall die, and therefrom ye shall be brought forth.
ya ce: "a cikinta kuke rãyuwa, kuma a cikinta kuke mutuwa, kuma daga gare ta ake fitar da ku."

he said: there shall ye live, and there shall ye die, and thence shall ye be brought forth.
ya ce: "a cikinta kuke rãyuwa, kuma a cikinta kuke mutuwa, kuma daga gare ta ake fitar da ku."

he said, "therein you will live, and therein you will die, and from it you will be brought forth."
ya ce: "a cikinta kuke rãyuwa, kuma a cikinta kuke mutuwa, kuma daga gare ta ake fitar da ku."

and they say: there is no naught but our life of the world; die and we live; and naught destroyeth us save time.
kuma suka ce: "bãbu kõme fãce rãyuwarmu ta dũniya; munã mutuwa kuma munã rãyuwa (da haihuwa) kuma bãbu abin da ke halaka mu sai zãmani."

"there is nothing but our life of this world! we die and we live! and we are not going to be resurrected!
"rãyuwa ba ta zama ba fãce rãyuwarmu ta dũniya, munã mutuwa kuma munã rãyuwa, kuma ba mu zama waɗanda ake tãyarwa ba."

and they say, “there is nothing but this our present life; we die and we live, and nothing destroys us except time.”
kuma suka ce: "bãbu kõme fãce rãyuwarmu ta dũniya; munã mutuwa kuma munã rãyuwa (da haihuwa) kuma bãbu abin da ke halaka mu sai zãmani."

and we will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
kuma lalle ne, muna jarrabar ku da wani abu daga tsõro da yunwa da naƙasa daga dũkiya da rãyuka da 'ya'yan itãce. kuma ka yi bishãra ga mãsu haƙuri.

and recall what time we delivered you from the house of fir'awn perpetrating on you terrible torment, slaying your sons and letting your women live, and therein was a trial from your lord, tremendous.
kuma a lõkacin da muka tsĩrar da ku daga mutãnen fir'auna, sunã tayã muku mugunyar azãba. sunã karkashe ɗiyanku maza, kuma sunã rãyar da matanku. kuma a cikin wancan akwai jarrabãwa daga ubangijinku, mai girma.

and surely we shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast,
kuma lalle ne, muna jarrabar ku da wani abu daga tsõro da yunwa da naƙasa daga dũkiya da rãyuka da 'ya'yan itãce. kuma ka yi bishãra ga mãsu haƙuri.

(believers!) you will certainly be put to test in respect of your properties and lives, and you will certainly hear many hurtful things from those who were granted the book before you and those who have associated others with allah in his divinity.
lalle ne zã a jarraba ku a cikin dũkiyarku da rãyukanku, kuma lalle ne kuna jin cũtarwa mai yawa daga waɗanda aka bai wa littãfi a gabãninku da kuma waɗanda suka yi shirki.
