इसमें शक़ नहीं कि जिन लोगों ने ईमान कुबूल किया और अच्छे अच्छे काम करते रहे तो हम हरगिज़ अच्छे काम वालो के अज्र को अकारत नहीं करते

and among them are the unlearned that do not know anything of the book except to recite something therefrom or parts of their own fabrications ; they are in absolute illusion .
और कुछ उनमें से ऐसे अनपढ़ हैं कि वह किताबे खुदा को अपने मतलब की बातों के सिवा कुछ नहीं समझते और वह फक़त ख्याली बातें किया करते हैं ,

ye kya tarika hai kese ko darane ka tum zalim log kese ke privacy ka khyal nahi karte ye kya hai yar ap log bohot zalim ho apjese logo par lannat hai

in a sloka , which is etched distinctly in the memory of our people : i do not frighten anyone , nor am i afraid of anyone is the proclamation of the guru to the mankind .
उनकी वाणी , जो हम सब की स्मृति पर स्पष्ट अंकित है - मैं , न किसी को डराता हूं और न किसी से डरता हूं - मानव समाज के लिये गुरु का उदघोष है ।

thou knowest the commandments, do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honour thy father and thy mother.
तू आज्ञाओं को तो जानता है, कि व्यभिचार न करना, झूठी गवाही न देना, अपने पिता और अपनी माता का आदर करना।

and do not send away those who call upon their lord morning and afternoon , seeking his countenance . not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account . so were you to send them away , you would be of the wrongdoers .
और जो लोग सुबह व शाम अपने परवरदिगार से उसकी ख़ुशनूदी की तमन्ना में दुऑए मॉगा करते हैं - उनको अपने पास से न धुत्कारो - न उनके जवाब देही कुछ उनके ज़िम्मे है ताकि तुम उन्हें धुत्कार बताओ तो तुम ज़ालिम में हो जाओगे

and if you decide to dispense with a wife in order to take another , do not take away anything of what you might have given the first one , even if you had given her a heap of gold . would you take it back by slandering her and committing a manifest wrong ?
और अगर तुम एक बीवी की जगह दूसरी बीवी तबदील करना चाहो तो अगरचे तुम उनमें से एक को बहुत सा माल दे चुके हो तो तुम उनमें से कुछ क्या तुम्हारी यही गैरत है कि बोहतान बॉधकर या सरीही जुर्म लगाकर वापस ले लो

o you who have believed , do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as does one who spends his wealth to be seen by the people and does not believe in allah and the last day . his example is like that of a smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare . they are unable anything of what they have earned . and allah does not guide the disbelieving people .
ऐ ईमानदारों आपनी खैरात को एहसान जताने और ईज़ा देने की वजह से उस शख्स की तरह अकारत मत करो जो अपना माल महज़ लोगों को दिखाने के वास्ते ख़र्च करता है और ख़ुदा और रोजे आखेरत पर ईमान नहीं रखता तो उसकी खैरात की मिसाल उस चिकनी चट्टान की सी है जिसपर कुछ ख़ाक हो फिर उसपर ज़ोर शोर का मेंह बरसे और उसको चिकना चुपड़ा छोड़ जाए रियाकार अपनी उस ख़ैरात या उसके सवाब में से जो उन्होंने की है किसी चीज़ पर क़ब्ज़ा न पाएंगे और ख़ुदा काफ़िरों को हिदायत करके मंज़िले मक़सूद तक नहीं पहुँचाया करता

therefore , judge bet - ween them by what allah has revealed and do not follow their desires , and beware lest they tempt you away from anything of what allah has revealed to you . and if they turn away , then know well that allah has indeed decided to afflict them for some of their sins . for surely many of them are transgressors .
तब ज़िन बातों में तुम इख्तेलाफ़ करते वह तुम्हें बता देगा और हम फिर कहते हैं कि जो एहकाम ख़ुदा नाज़िल किए हैं तुम उसके मुताबिक़ फैसला करो और उनकी ख्वाहिशे नफ़सियानी की पैरवी न करो तुम उनसे बचे रहो कि किसी हुक्म से जो ख़ुदा ने तुम पर नाज़िल किया है तुमको ये लोग भटका दें फिर अगर ये लोग तुम्हारे हुक्म से मुंह मोड़ें तो समझ लो कि ख़ुदा ही की मरज़ी है कि उनके बाज़ गुनाहों की वजह से उन्हें मुसीबत में फॅसा दे और इसमें तो शक ही नहीं कि बहुतेरे लोग बदचलन हैं

allah , there is no god except he , the living , the everlasting . neither dozing , nor sleep overtakes him . to him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth . who is he that shall intercede with him except by his permission ! he knows what will be before their hands and what was behind them , and they do not comprehend anything of his knowledge except what he willed . his seat embraces the heavens and the earth , and the preserving of them does not weary him . he is the high , the great .
ख़ुदा ही वो ज़ाते पाक है कि उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं ज़िन्दा है सारे जहान का संभालने वाला है उसको न ऊँघ आती है न नींद जो कुछ आसमानो में है और जो कुछ ज़मीन में है उसी का है कौन ऐसा है जो बग़ैर उसकी इजाज़त के उसके पास किसी की सिफ़ारिश करे जो कुछ उनके सामने मौजूद है और जो कुछ उनके पीछे है जानता है और लोग उसके इल्म में से किसी चीज़ पर भी अहाता नहीं कर सकते मगर वह जिसे जितना चाहे उसकी कुर्सी सब आसमानॊं और ज़मीनों को घेरे हुये है और उन दोनों की निगेहदाश्त उसपर कुछ भी मुश्किल नहीं और वह आलीशान बुजुर्ग़ मरतबा है
