दान तथा मनुष्य द्वारा अर्जित धन के व्यय का ढंग उनके लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि प्रतिदिन जितना दान देना संभव हो दें ।

on the following day they give alms , they give banquets and receive guests .
दूसरे दिन वे दान करती हैं , भोज देती हैं और अतिथियों का स्वागत करती हैं .

on the following morning they bring them to the ponds , wash them , wash themselves , and give alms .
दूसरे दिन सवेरे वे उन टोकरियों को तालाब पर लाती हैं , उन्हें धोती हैं , स्वयं स्नान करती हैं और दान देती हैं ।

to give alms to such persons , who are sound in all their limbs , is to debase oneself and them .
ऐसे लोगों को , जिनके हाथ - पैर सही - सलामत हैं , दान देना अपना और उनका दोनों का पतन करना है ।

but rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.
परन्तु हां, भीतरवाली वस्तुओं को दान कर दो, तो देखो, सब कुछ तुम्हारे लिये शुद्ध हो जाएगा।।

and of them is he who made a covenant with allah : if he give us of his bounty we will give alms and become of the righteous .
और उनमें से कुछ लोग ऐसे भी है जिन्होने अल्लाह को वचन दिया था कि " यदि उसने हमें अपने अनुग्रह से दिया तो हम अवश्य दान करेंगे और नेक होकर रहेंगे । "

and of them are some who covenanted with saying : if he giveth of his grace , we will surely give alms and we will surely become of the righteous .
और इन में से बाज़ ऐसे भी हैं जो ख़ुदा से क़ौल क़रार कर चुके थे कि अगर हमें अपने फज़ल से देगा तो हम ज़रूर ख़ैरात किया करेगें और नेकोकार बन्दे हो जाऎंगे

and perform the prayer , and give alms . whatever good you forward for yourselves , you will find it with god . god is seeing of everything you do .
और नमाज़ पढ़ते रहो और ज़कात दिये जाओ और जो कुछ भलाई अपने लिए पहले से भेज दोगे उस को मौजूद पाआगे जो कुछ तुम करते हो उसे खुदा ज़रूर देख रहा है

some of them made a covenant with allah : " if allah gives us out of his bounty , we will give alms and act righteously . "
और इन में से बाज़ ऐसे भी हैं जो ख़ुदा से क़ौल क़रार कर चुके थे कि अगर हमें अपने फज़ल से देगा तो हम ज़रूर ख़ैरात किया करेगें और नेकोकार बन्दे हो जाऎंगे

lo ! those who give alms , both men and women , and lend unto allah a goodly loan , it will be doubled for them , and theirs will be a rich reward .
बेशक ख़ैरात देने वाले मर्द और ख़ैरात देने वाली औरतें और ख़ुदा की नीयत से ख़ालिस कर्ज़ देते हैं उनको दोगुना दिया जाएगा और उनका बहुत मुअज़िज़ सिला तो है ही

he also knows who taunt the believers that voluntarily give alms , they scoff at those who have nothing to give except what they earn through their hard toil . allah scoffs at them in return . a grievous chastisement awaits them .
जो लोग दिल खोलकर ख़ैरात करने वाले मोमिनीन पर और उन मोमिनीन पर जो सिर्फ अपनी शफ़क़क़्त की मज़दूरी पाते इल्ज़ाम लगाते हैं फिर उनसे मसख़रापन करते तो ख़ुदा भी उन से मसख़रापन करेगा और उनके लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब है

there are some among them who pledged themselves to god , saying , " if god gives us something out of his bounty , we shall certainly give alms and be righteous , "
और इन में से बाज़ ऐसे भी हैं जो ख़ुदा से क़ौल क़रार कर चुके थे कि अगर हमें अपने फज़ल से देगा तो हम ज़रूर ख़ैरात किया करेगें और नेकोकार बन्दे हो जाऎंगे

and spend of that wherewith we have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith : my lord ! if only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while , then i would give alms and be among the righteous .
हमने तुम्हें जो कुछ दिया है उसमें से ख़र्च करो इससे पहले कि तुममें से किसी की मृत्यु आ जाए और उस समय वह करने लगे , " ऐ मेरे रब ! तूने मुझे कुछ थोड़े समय तक और मुहलत क्यों न दी कि मैं सदक़ा करता और अच्छे लोगों में सम्मिलित हो जाऊँ । "
