charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears yahweh, she shall be praised.
शोभा तो झूठी और सुन्दरता व्यर्थ है, परन्तु जो स्त्री यहोवा का भय मानती है, उसकी प्रशंसा की जाएगी।

he who does good shall be rewarded with something better . but he who does evil shall be requited according to his deeds .
जो कोई अच्छा आचारण लेकर आया उसे उससे उत्तम प्राप्त होगा , और जो बुरा आचरण लेकर आया तो बुराइयाँ करनेवालों को तो वस वही मिलेगा जो वे करते थे

except he who repents and believes and does good works ; those shall be admitted to paradise and shall not be wronged in any way .
मगर जिसने तौबा कर लिया और अच्छे - अच्छे काम किए तो ऐसे लोग बेहिश्त में दाख़िल होंगे और उन पर कुछ भी जुल्म नहीं किया जाएगा वह सदाबहार बाग़ात में रहेंगे

and who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against allah or rejects his ayat ? verily , the zalimun shall never be successful .
और उससे बढ़कर अत्याचारी कौन होगा , जो अल्लाह पर झूठ गढ़े या उसकी आयतों को झुठलाए । निस्सन्देह अत्याचारी कभी सफल नहीं हो सकते

he who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. he who does it destroys his own soul.
परनतु जो परस्त्रीगमन करता है वह निरा निर्बुद्ध है; जो अपने प्राणों को नाश करना चाहता है, वह ऐसा करता है।।

he who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words
वह जो आपकी चुप्पी नहीं समझता है वह शायद आपके शब्दों को नहीं समझेगा people who do not understand your silence will never understand your words

he said , " we shall certainly punish him who does wrong ; then he shall be brought back to his lord who will punish him with a grievous punishment ,
जुलकरनैन ने अर्ज़ की जो शख्स सरकशी करेगा तो हम उसकी फौरन सज़ा कर देगें फिर वह अपने परवरदिगार के सामने लौटाकर लाया ही जाएगा और वह बुरी से बुरी सज़ा देगा

is he who creates as he who does not create ? will you not remember ?
फिर क्या जो पैदा करता है वह उस जैसा हो सकता है , जो पैदा नहीं करता ? फिर क्या तुम्हें होश नहीं होता ?

is he who creates like him who does not create ? will you not take a lesson ?
ताकि तुम और बहुत सी निशानियाँ और बहुत से लोग सितारे से भी राह मालूम करते हैं

and who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the ayat of his lord , then he turns aside therefrom ? verily , we shall exact retribution from the mujrimun .
और उस व्यक्ति से बढकर अत्याचारी कौन होगा जिसे उसके रब की आयतों के द्वारा याद दिलाया जाए , फिर वह उनसे मुँह फेर ले ? निश्चय ही हम अपराधियों से बदला लेकर रहेंगे

and of them is he who believes in it , and of them is he who does not believe in it , and your lord best knows the mischief - makers .
और उनमें से बाज़ तो ऐसे है कि इस कुरान पर आइन्दा ईमान लाएगें और बाज़ ऐसे हैं जो ईमान लाएगें ही नहीं

little children, let no one lead you astray. he who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
हे बालको, किसी के भरमाने में न आना; जो धर्म के काम करता है, वही उस की नाईं धर्मी है।

and they who do not call upon another god with allah and do not slay the soul , which allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice , and do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin ;
जो अल्लाह के साथ किसी दूसरे इष्ट - पूज्य को नहीं पुकारते और न नाहक़ किसी जीव को जिस को अल्लाह ने हराम किया है , क़त्ल करते है । और न वे व्यभिचार करते है - जो कोई यह काम करे तो वह गुनाह के वबाल से दोचार होगा

"'but the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, the same blasphemes yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
परन्तु क्या देशी क्या परदेशी, जो प्राणी ढिठाई से कुछ करे, वह यहोवा का अनादर करनेवाला ठहरेगा, और वह प्राणी अपने लोगों में से नाश किया जाए।

there is no good in most of their secret talks save him who orders sadaqah , or ma ' ruf , or conciliation between mankind , and he who does this , seeking the good pleasure of allah , we shall give him a great reward .
उनकी अधिकतर काना - फूसियों में कोई भलाई नहीं होती । हाँ , जो व्यक्ति सदक़ा देने या भलाई करने या लोगों के बीच सुधार के लिए कुछ कहे , तो उसकी बात और है । और जो कोई यह काम अल्लाह की प्रसन्नता प्राप्त करने के लिए करेगा , उसे हम निश्चय ही बड़ा प्रतिदान प्रदान करेंगे

and who does greater evil than he who forges against god a lie ? those shall be presented before their lord , and the witnesses will say , ' those are they who lied against their lord . ' surely the curse of god shall rest upon the evildoers
और ये जो शख़्श ख़ुदा पर झूठ मूठ बोहतान बॉधे उससे ज्यादा ज़ालिम कौन होगा ऐसे लोग अपने परवरदिगार के हुज़ूर में पेश किए जाएंगें और गवाह इज़हार करेगें कि यही वह लोग हैं जिन्होंने अपने परवरदिगार पर झूट बाँधा था सुन रखो कि ज़ालिमों पर ख़ुदा की फिटकार है
