what aileth them then, that they believe not,
फिर उन्हें क्या हो गया है कि ईमान नहीं लाते?

of sin, because they believe not on me;
पाप के विषय में इसलिये कि वे मुझ पर विश्वास नहीं करते।

but i said unto you, that ye also have seen me, and believe not.
परन्तु मैं ने तुम से कहा, कि तुम ने मुझे देख भी लिया है, तोभी विश्वास नहीं करते।

we created you , then why do you believe not ?
तुम लोगों को हम ही ने पैदा किया है

what is the matter with them , that they believe not ?
फिर उन्हें क्या हो गया है कि ईमान नहीं लाते ?

it may be that thou tormentest thyself because they believe not .
शायद तुम अपनी जान हलाक कर डालोगे कि ये मोमिन क्यो नहीं हो जाते

yet , be thou ever so eager , the most part of men believe not .
किन्तु चाहे तुम कितना ही चाहो , अधिकतर लोग तो मानेंगे नहीं

and most of them believe not in allah except as they are associators .
और अक्सर लोगों की ये हालत है कि वह ख़ुदा पर ईमान तो नहीं लाते मगर शिर्क किए जाते हैं

and most of them believe not in allah except that they attribute partners .
और अक्सर लोगों की ये हालत है कि वह ख़ुदा पर ईमान तो नहीं लाते मगर शिर्क किए जाते हैं

and verily those who believe not in the hereafter are deviating from that way .
और इसमें शक नहीं कि जो लोग आख़िरत पर ईमान नहीं रखते वह सीधी राह से हटे हुए हैं

already hath the judgment , proved true of most of them , for they believe not .
तो वह दीन से बिल्कुल बेख़बर हैं उन में अक्सर तो बातें यक़ीनन बिल्कुल ठीक पूरी उतरे ये लोग तो ईमान लाएँगे नहीं

but ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as i said unto you.
परन्तु तुम इसलिये प्रतीति नहीं करते, कि मेरी भेड़ों में से नहीं हो।

and lo ! those who believe not in the hereafter are indeed astray from the path .
और इसमें शक नहीं कि जो लोग आख़िरत पर ईमान नहीं रखते वह सीधी राह से हटे हुए हैं

verily , those who believe not in the hereafter , name the angels with female names .
जो लोग आख़ेरत पर ईमान नहीं रखते वह फ़रिश्तों के नाम रखते हैं औरतों के से नाम हालॉकि उन्हें इसकी कुछ ख़बर नहीं
