ख़ुदा तुम्हारे बेकार (बेकार) क़समों (के खाने) पर तो ख़ैर गिरफ्तार न करेगा मगर बाक़सद (सच्ची) पक्की क़सम खाने और उसके ख़िलाफ करने पर तो ज़रुर तुम्हारी ले दे करेगा (लो सुनो) उसका जुर्माना जैसा तुम ख़ुद अपने एहलोअयाल को खिलाते हो उसी क़िस्म का औसत दर्जे का दस मोहताजों को खाना खिलाना या उनको कपड़े पहनाना या एक गुलाम आज़ाद करना है फिर जिससे यह सब न हो सके तो मैं तीन दिन के रोज़े (रखना) ये (तो) तुम्हारी क़समों का जुर्माना है जब तुम क़सम खाओ (और पूरी न करो) और अपनी क़समों (के पूरा न करने) का ख्याल रखो ख़ुदा अपने एहकाम को तुम्हारे वास्ते यूँ साफ़ साफ़ बयान करता है ताकि तुम शुक्र करो
