預言者よ，われがあなたの妻として許した者は，あなたがマハルを与えた妻たち，また捕虜としてアッラーがあなたに授けた，あなたの右手の所有する者，あなたの父方のおじ，おばの娘たち，母方のおじ，おばの娘たちで，あなたと共に移住してきた者，また女の信者で心身を預言者に捧げたという者で，もし預言者がこれと結婚を欲するならば（許される）。これはあなただけの（特例）で，外の信者たちには許されない。われは，あなたが窮地に陥いらないようかれら（信者）の妻，とその右手の所有する者に就いて，かれらにわれが決めたことは承知させている。アッラーは寛容にして慈悲深い方である。
