چه‌نده‌ها شارو شارۆچکه‌مان کاول کرد که خه‌ڵکه‌که‌ی سته‌مکار بوون و به‌دوایاندا گه‌لانی ترمان هێناوه‌ته مه‌یدانه‌وه‌.

how many a city i have respited in its evildoing; then i seized it, and to me was the homecoming.
چه‌نده‌ها شارو شارۆچکه هه‌بوون که من مۆڵه‌تمداون له‌کاتێکدا ده‌نیشتوانی سته‌مکاریش بوون، دوای ماوه‌یه‌ك له‌ناوم بردوون، سه‌رئه‌نجام و گه‌ڕانه‌وه‌ش هه‌ر بۆ لای منه‌.

and faces shall be humbled unto the living, the eternal. he will have failed whose burden is of evildoing;
هه‌رچی ڕووخساره‌کانه (له ڕۆژو قیامه‌تدا) ملکه‌ج و فه‌رمانبه‌ردارن، بۆ ئه‌و زاته‌ی که‌هه‌میشه زیندووه و ده‌سه‌ڵاتی بێ سنووری هه‌یه‌، بێگومان ئه‌وه‌ی سته‌می کردووه‌، ڕه‌نج به‌خه‌سارو نائومێدو بێ هیوایه‌.

such is the seizing of thy lord, when he seizes the cities that are evildoing; surely his seizing is painful, terrible.
ئا به‌و شوێوه‌یه‌ش تۆڵه‌سه‌ندنی په‌روه‌ردگاری تۆ، کاتێك تۆڵه ده‌سێنێت له خه‌ڵکی شارو دێهاته‌کان له‌حاڵێکدا که یاخی و سته‌م پیشه بوون، به‌ڕاستی تۆڵه‌سه‌ندنه‌که‌ی زۆر به‌ئێش و به‌هێزو توونده‌.

then the evildoers of them substituted a saying other than that which had been said to them; so we sent down upon them wrath out of heaven for their evildoing.
جا ئه‌وانه‌یان که سته‌میان کردبوو فه‌رمووده‌که‌یان گۆڕی به‌شتێک ئه‌وه نه‌بوو که پێیان وترا بوو، جائێمه‌ش سزاو به‌ڵایه‌کمان له ئاسمانه‌وه به‌سه‌ردا ناردن به‌هۆی ئه‌و سته‌مه‌وه که ده‌یانکرد.

those who believe, and have not confounded their belief with evildoing -- to them belongs the true security; they are rightly guided.
ئه‌وانه‌ی ئیمان و باوه‌ڕیان هێناوه و سته‌م و هاوه‌ڵگه‌ریان تێکه‌ڵ به ئیمانه‌که‌یان نه‌کردووه‌، ئاسووده‌یی و هێمنی هه‌ر بۆ ئه‌وانه‌یه‌، هه‌ر ئه‌وانه‌ش ڕێنموومایی کراون.

and for the evildoing of those of jewry, we have forbidden them certain good things that were permitted to them, and for their barring from god's way many,
به‌هۆی زوڵم و سته‌مێک له‌لایه‌ن ئه‌وانه‌ی که بوونه‌ته جوو و به‌هۆی ئه‌وه‌ی که زۆر کۆسپیان ده‌خسته به‌ر ڕێبازی خوا، ئێمه هه‌ندێک نازو نیعمه‌تمان لێ حه‌رام کردن که پێشتر بۆیان حه‌ڵاڵ بوو...

then, when they forgot what they had been exhorted, we delivered those who forbade evil and afflicted the wrong-doers with a grievous chastisement because of their evildoing.
جا کاتێک فه‌رامۆشیان کرد ئه‌وه‌ی ئامۆژگاریان پێی کرابوو، ئێمه‌ش ئه‌وانه‌ی که قه‌ده‌غه‌ی خراپه‌یان ده‌کرد ڕزگارمان کردن و ئه‌وانه‌ش که سته‌میان کردو هه‌وڵیاندا بۆ کردنی ئه‌وکاره ناڕه‌وایه‌، به‌سزایه‌کی سه‌خت گیرۆده‌مان کردن، به‌هۆی ئه‌وه‌ی له سنوور ده‌رچوو بوون.

but whoso repents, after his evildoing, and makes amends, god will turn towards him; god is all-forgiving, all-compassionate.
جا ئه‌وه‌ی دوای سته‌م و تاوانه‌که‌ی ته‌وبه بکات و چاکسازی له خۆیدا بکات (دڵ و ده‌روونی خاوێن بکاته‌وه‌، ماڵی خه‌ڵکی بداته‌وه و چاوی له دزێتی نه‌مێنێت)، ئه‌وه بێگومان خوا ته‌وبه‌که‌ی لێوه‌رده‌گرێت، چونکه به‌ڕاستی خوای گه‌وره لێخۆشبوو میهره‌بانه‌.

and it was said: 'earth, swallow up your waters. heaven, cease' the water subsided and the matter was accomplished. and the ark came to rest upon (the mountain of) aljudi, and it was said: 'be gone, evildoing nation'
پاشان فه‌رماندرا به زه‌وی: ئاوه‌که‌ت با ڕۆبچێت به‌ناختدا، ئه‌ی ئاسمان: تۆش با به‌س بێت و باران مه‌بارێنه‌، ئیتر ئاوه‌که ڕۆچوو، فه‌رمانیش به‌ڕێکی و ته‌واوی ئه‌نجامدرا، که‌شتیه‌که‌ش له‌سه‌ر کێوه جودی (که له کوردستانی باکووره‌) وه‌ستاو له‌نگه‌ری گرت و وترا: ده‌ك دووری له به‌زه‌یی خواو تیاچوون بۆ به‌ره‌ی سته‌مکاران.
