and it is he who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and he placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.
هه‌ر ئه‌و زاته‌یه که ئاوی دوو ده‌ریا یان دوو ڕووبار له پاڵ یه‌کدا (وه‌ک خۆیان ده‌هێلێته‌وه و تێکه‌ڵ نابن، چونکه چڕیان جیاوازه)، ئه‌مه‌یان شیرین و خۆش و سازگار، ئه‌وی تریان تفت و تاڵه، له نێوانیاندا به‌ربه‌ست و کۆسپی فه‌راهه‌م هێناوه ناهێڵێت تیکه‌ڵ ببن.

and it is he who caused the two joint seas to flow- one is palatable, very sweet, and the other is salty, very bitter; and kept a veil between them and a preventing barrier.

and it is he who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and he has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.

and he it is who hath given independence to the two seas (though they meet); one palatable, sweet, and the other saltish, bitter; and hath set a bar and a forbidding ban between them.

alike are not two bodies of water: this one is sweet and fresh and pleasant to drink, and this one brine and bitter; yet you get fresh meat to eat from both, and take out ornaments to wear. you see how the ships churn through them so that you may seek of his bounty and, perhaps, give thanks.
هه‌ر دوو خۆره ده‌ریا وه‌کو یه‌ک نین، یه‌کێکیان ئاوی سازگار و خۆش، ئه‌وی تریان سوێر و تاڵ، له هه‌ردووکیان گۆشتی ئه‌ڕو تازه ده‌خۆن، جۆره‌ها شتی گرانبه‌ها (وه‌ک گه‌وهه‌رو مرواری و یاقووت و... هتد) ه‌رده‌هێنن و له‌به‌ری ده‌که‌ن و خۆتانی پێ ده‌ڕازێننه‌وه‌، ئینجا که‌شتییه‌کان ده‌بینیت ئاوه‌که له‌ت ده‌که‌ن و (به ئاسانی پیایدا ده‌ڕۆن) تا له به‌خششه‌کانی په‌روه‌ردگار به‌هره‌وه‌ر ببن، بۆ ئه‌وه‌ی سوپاسگوزریش بن.
