nos primum inter se tenere

i summon forth a ball of light, shine bright into the dark
post tenebras spero lucem

and i will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will i plead with you face to face.
et adducam vos in desertum populorum et iudicabor vobiscum ibi facie ad facie

and i will cause you to pass under the rod, and i will bring you into the bond of the covenant:
