my family is originated from nepal. the people of nepal are known as nepalese or nepali. nepalese people speak nepali language in common. except the common language, there are various forms of languages from different culture and group of people. going back to history, my family’s ancestors are known for artists who painted or created different forms of meaningful architecture in the temple working with the noble family which signifies the nation present today. among the different group of people, we consider ourselves as newar who are one of the largest group of people in kathmandu which is capital of nepal and which is the origin of my family. as mentioned prior, all of my family members are originated from nepal, each member has their own household activities to do. usually, females tend to do household works and male is tended to work to look over the family however i had a different case because my family consists of large members and each person is dependent on themselves which is the reason why my mom worked and my dad as well excluding my uncles and aunts who followed the same pattern of husband and housewife. my grandfather and grandmother didn’t do any work due to their age problems and as a family member, looking after them was a big part of responsibility. as for the asian cultures, taking care of elderly is honorable as glory; paying back to parents of how they took care of their children when they were young is part of karma what you give is what you get show more
