(นี้คือประกาศ) การพ้นข้อผูกพันธ์ใด ๆ จากอัลลอฮ์ และร่อซูลของพระองค์ แด่บรรดาผู้สักการะเจว็ด (มุชริกีน) ที่พวกเจ้า ได้ทำสัญญาไว้

how are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!
วีรบุรุษก็ล้มลงเสียแล้วหนอ และเครื่องยุทโธปกรณ์ก็พินาศไป

wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
สติปัญญาดีกว่าเครื่องอาวุธยุทโธปกรณ์ แต่คนบาปคนเดียวย่อมบั่นรอนความดีเสียเป็นอันมากได

and plenty of war booty, to take; and allah is most honourable, wise.
และทรัพย์เชลยอันมากมายที่พวกเขาจะได้รับมันและอัลลอฮ.เป็นผู้ทรงอำนาจผู้ทรงปรีชาญาณ

(this is a declaration of) immunity by allah and his apostle towards those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement.

this is a declaration of disavowal by allah and his messenger to those who associate others with allah in his divinity and with whom you have made treaties:
(นี้คือประกาศ) การพ้นข้อผูกพันธ์ใด ๆ จากอัลลอฮ์ และร่อซูลของพระองค์ แด่บรรดาผู้สักการะเจว็ด (มุชริกีน) ที่พวกเจ้า ได้ทำสัญญาไว้

a (declaration) of immunity from allah and his messenger, to those of the pagans with whom ye have contracted mutual alliances:-
(นี้คือประกาศ) การพ้นข้อผูกพันธ์ใด ๆ จากอัลลอฮ์ และร่อซูลของพระองค์ แด่บรรดาผู้สักการะเจว็ด (มุชริกีน) ที่พวกเจ้า ได้ทำสัญญาไว้

[this is a declaration of] disassociation, from allah and his messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists.
(นี้คือประกาศ) การพ้นข้อผูกพันธ์ใด ๆ จากอัลลอฮ์ และร่อซูลของพระองค์ แด่บรรดาผู้สักการะเจว็ด (มุชริกีน) ที่พวกเจ้า ได้ทำสัญญาไว้

so joshua ascended from gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valour.
ฝ่ายโยชูวาจึงขึ้นไปจากกิลกาล ทั้งท่านและบรรดาพลรบด้วย และทแกล้วทหารทั้งหม

and he had much business in the cities of judah: and the men of war, mighty men of valour, were in jerusalem.
และพระองค์ทรงมีพระราชกิจมากมายในหัวเมืองของยูดาห์ พระองค์ทรงมีทหารเป็นทแกล้วทหารในกรุงเยรูซาเล็

and eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, this is the ordinance of the law which the lord commanded moses;
และเอเลอาซาร์ปุโรหิตได้กล่าวแก่ทหารผู้ออกไปทำสงครามว่า "นี่เป็นกฎพระราชบัญญัติซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ได้บัญชาโมเส

and all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of media and persia?
พระราชกิจอันกอปรด้วยพระราชอำนาจและอานุภาพ กับเรื่องราวละเอียดของยศศักดิ์อันสูงของโมรเดคัย ซึ่งกษัตริย์ทรงเลื่อนท่านขึ้น มิได้บันทึกไว้ในหนังสือพงศาวดารของกษัตริย์แห่งมีเดียและเปอร์เซียหรื

and that declaration of theirs did not cease until we made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire].
ไม่ทันที่คำพูดของพวกเขาจะสิ้นสุดลง เราก็ได้ทำลายพวกเขา เสมือนพืชที่ถูกเก็บเกี่ยวมอดไหม้ไป

[this is] a [declaration of] repudiation by allah and his apostle [addressed] to the polytheists with whom you had made a treaty:

and whatever spoils of war allah has given to his messenger from them, you hastened on neither horse nor camel against them, but allah gives hismessengers authority over whom he will. allah is powerful over all things.
และสิ่งใดที่อัลลอฮฺทรงให้ร่อซูลของพระองค์ยึดมาได้จากพวกเขา(พวกยะฮูด) พวกเจ้ามิได้เหน็ดเหนื่อยด้วยการขี่ม้าหรือขี่อูฐออกไป แต่อัลลอฮฺทรงให้บรรดาร่อซูลของพระองค์มีอำนาจเหนือผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงประสงค์ และอัลลอฮฺเป็นผู้ทรงอานุภาพเหนือทุกสิ่งทุกอย่าง

and whatever spoils of war god has given unto his messenger from them, against that you pricked neither horse nor camel; but god gives authority to his messengers over whomsoever he will. god is powerful over everything.
และสิ่งใดที่อัลลอฮฺทรงให้ร่อซูลของพระองค์ยึดมาได้จากพวกเขา(พวกยะฮูด) พวกเจ้ามิได้เหน็ดเหนื่อยด้วยการขี่ม้าหรือขี่อูฐออกไป แต่อัลลอฮฺทรงให้บรรดาร่อซูลของพระองค์มีอำนาจเหนือผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงประสงค์ และอัลลอฮฺเป็นผู้ทรงอานุภาพเหนือทุกสิ่งทุกอย่าง

and abijah set the battle in array with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men: jeroboam also set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, being mighty men of valour.
อาบียาห์เสด็จออกทำสงคราม มีกองทัพทหารชำนาญศึกเป็นคนคัดเลือกแล้วสี่แสนคน และเยโรโบอัมได้ตั้งแนวรบสู้กับพระองค์ด้วยคนคัดเลือกแล้วเป็นทแกล้วทหารแปดแสนค

and if ye do not, then be warned of war (against you) from allah and his messenger. and if ye repent, then ye have your principal (without interest). wrong not, and ye shall not be wronged.
และถ้าพวกเจ้ามิได้ปฏิบัติตาม ก็พึงรับรู้ไว้ด้วยว่า ซึ่งสงครามจากอัลลอฮ์ และร่อซูลของพระองค์ และหากพวกเจ้าสำนึกผิดกลับเนื้อกลับตัวแล้ว สำหรับพวกเจ้าก็คือต้นทุนแห่งทรัพย์ของพวกเจ้า โดยที่พวกเจ้านะได้ไม่อธรรม และไม่ถูกอธรรม
