your lord inspired the angels saying, "i am with you. encourage the believers. i shall cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers and you will strike their heads and limbs;
“จงรำลึกขณะที่พระเจ้าของเจ้าประทานโองการแก่มลาอิกะฮ์ ว่า แท้จริงข้านั้นร่วมอยู่กับพวกเจ้าด้วย ดังนั้นพวกเจ้าจงทำให้บรรดาผู้ศรัทธามั่นคง เถิด ข้าจะโยน ความกลัวเข้าไปในหัวใจของบรรดาผู้ที่ปฏิเสธศรัทธา แล้วพวกเจ้าจงฟันลงบนก้านคอ และจงฟันทุก ๆ ส่วนปลายของนิ้วมือ จากพวกเขา”

their limbs do forsake their beds of sleep, the while they call on their lord, in fear and hope: and they spend (in charity) out of the sustenance which we have bestowed on them.
