and if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
และถ้ามือของท่านทำให้ท่านหลงผิด จงตัดมันทิ้งเสีย ซึ่งจะเข้าสู่ชีวิตด้วยมือด้วนยังดีกว่ามีสองมือและต้องตกนรกในไฟที่ไม่มีวันดั

wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
ด้วยเหตุนี้ถ้ามือหรือเท้าของท่านทำให้ท่านหลงผิด จงตัดออกและโยนมันทิ้งเสียจากท่าน ซึ่งท่านจะเข้าสู่ชีวิตด้วยมือและเท้าด้วนยังดีกว่ามีสองมือสองเท้า และต้องถูกทิ้งในไฟซึ่งไหม้อยู่เป็นนิตย
