เขา (บิดา) กล่าวว่า “เจ้ารังเกียจพระเจ้าทั้งหลายของฉันกระนั้นหรือ โอ้อิบรอฮีมเอ๋ย ! หากเจ้าไม่หยุดยั้ง (จากการตำหนิ) แน่นอนฉันจะขว้างเจ้า (ด้วยก้อนหิน) และเจ้าจงไปให้พ้นจากฉันตลอดไป”

say: 'what do you think if some chastisement of allah or the hour suddenly overtakes you: do you cry to any other than allah? answer, if you speak the truth.
จงกล่าวเถิด (มุฮัมมัด) ท่านได้เห็นพวกท่านแล้วมิใช่หรือ? หากการลงโทษของอัลลอฮ์มายังพวกท่าน หรือวันกิยามะฮ์ ได้มายังพวกท่านอื่นจากอัลลอฮ์ กระนั้นหรือ ที่พวกท่านจะวิงวอนหากพวกเจ้าเป็นผู้พูดจริง

he illustrates an example for you, from your own selves: do you make your servants full partners in the wealth we have given you? do you revere them as you revere one another? we thus explain the revelations for a people who understand.
พระองค์ทรงยกอุทธาหรณ์แก่พวกเจ้าที่มาจากตัวของพวกเจ้าเอง จะมีบ้างไหมสำหรับพวกเจ้า (ที่จะยอมให้) ในหมู่ผู้ที่มือขวาของพวกเจ้าครอบครอง (บ่าวทาส) มีหุ้นส่วนในสิ่งที่เราได้ให้เครื่องยังชีพแก่พวกเจ้า แล้วพวกเจ้า (กับพวกเขา) มามีส่วนเท่ากัน โดยพวกเจ้ากลัวพวกเขาเหมือนกับการกลัวของพวกเจ้าด้วยกันเอง เช่นนั้นแหละ เราจำแนกสัญญาณทั้งหลายแก่หมู่ชนผู้ใช้ปัญญาเพื่อไตร่ตรอง

they say: 'allah has taken a son' exaltations be to him (allah)! rich is he. to him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth you have no authority for this! what, do you say of allah what you do not know?
พวกเขากล่าวว่า “อัลลอฮฺทรงแต่งตั้งพระบุตร” มหาบริสุทธิ์พระองค์ท่าน ทรงพอเพียงจากสิ่งใด ๆ สิ่งที่อยู่ในชั้นฟ้าทั้งหลาย และสิ่งที่อยู่ในแผ่นดินเป็นของพระองค์ พวกท่านไม่มีหลักฐานใด ๆ ในการกล่าวเช่นนี้ พวกท่านจะกล่าวร้ายต่ออัลลอฮฺในสิ่งที่พวกท่านไม่รู้กระนั้นหรือ?

do you not see that allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that allah, with whatever you do, is acquainted?
เจ้ามิเห็นดอกหรือว่า แท้จริงอัลลอฮฺทรงให้กลางคืนคาบเกี่ยวเข้าไปในเวลากลางวัน และทรงให้กลางวันคาบเกี่ยวเข้าไปในเวลากลางคืน และทรงสร้างให้ดวงอาทิตย์และดวงจันทร์ (เป็นประโยชน์แก่มนุษย์) ทุกสิ่งโคจรไปตามวาระที่กำหนดไว้ และแท้จริงอัลลอฮฺนั้นทรงรู้ดียิ่งในสิ่งที่พวกเจ้ากระทำ

and they said, “the fire will not touch us except for a certain number of days”; say, “have you taken a covenant from allah – then allah will certainly not break his covenant – or do you say something concerning allah what you do not know?”
และเขาเหล่านั้นกล่าวว่า ไฟนรกนั้นจะไม่แตะต้องพวกเราเลย นอกจากบรรดาวันที่ถูกนับได้ จงกล่าวเถิด (มุฮัมมัด) ว่าท่านทั้งหลายได้ยึดถือคำมั่นสัญญา ณ ที่อัลลอฮ์จะไม่ทรงผิดสัญญาของพระองค์เลยกระนั้นหรือ ? หรือว่าพวกท่านอุปโลกน์ความเท็จขึ้นให้แก่อัลลอฮ์ในสิ่งที่พวกท่านไม่รู้
