(நபியே!) உமக்கு முன்னர் நாம் அனுப்பிய ஒவ்வொரு தூதரிடமும்; "நிச்சயமாக (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) நாயன் என்னைத் தவிர வேறு எவருமில்லை எனவே, என்னையே நீங்கள் வணங்குங்கள்" என்று நாம் வஹீ அறிவிக்காமலில்லை.

blessed is he who sent down the criterion to his servant that he may be a warner to all the nations.
உலகத்தார் யாவரையும் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காக (சத்தியத்தையும், அசத்தியத்தையும் தெளிவாகப்) பிரித்தறிவிக்கும் இவ்வேதத்தைத் தன் அடியார் மீது இறக்கியவன் மிக்க பாக்கியமுடையவன்.

(நபியே!) நாம் உம்மை அகிலத்தாருக்கு எல்லாம் ரஹ்மத்தாக - ஓர் அருட் கொடையாகவேயன்றி அனுப்பவில்லை.

ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு (நபியே!) நீர் கூறிவிடும்; அல்லாஹ்வுடைய (தண்டனைக்கான) நாட்களை நம்பாதவர்களை அவர்கள் மன்னித்து (அவர்களைப் பற்றி அல்லாஹ்விடம் பரஞ் சாட்டிவிடட்டும்); ஜனங்களுக்கு அவர்கள் தேடிக் கொண்ட வினைக்குத் தக்கபலனை அவன் கொடுப்பான்.

this [qur'an] is a clear statement to [all] the people and a guidance and instruction for those conscious of allah.
இது மனிதர்களுக்கு (சத்தியத்தின்) தெளிவான விளக்கமாகவும், பயபக்தியுடையோருக்கு நேர் வழிகாட்டியாகவும், நற்போதனையாகவும் இருக்கின்றது.

they said, "never shall we prefer you to all the evidence of the truth that has come to us. nor to him who has brought us into being. so decide whatever you will. your jurisdiction only covers the life of this world --
(மனந்திருந்திய அவர்கள் ஃபிர்அவ்னிடம்) "எங்களுக்கு வந்துள்ள தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளை விடவும், எங்களைப் படைத்தவனை விடவும் உன்னை (மேலானவனாக) நாங்கள் எடுத்துக் கொள்ள மாட்டோம்; ஆகவே என்ன தீர்ப்புச் செய்ய நீ இருக்கிறாயோ அவ்வாறே தீர்ப்புச் செய்துகொள்; நீ தீர்ப்புச் செய்வதெல்லாம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் தான்" என்று கூறினார்.
