indeed your lord only will raise them all on the day of resurrection; indeed only he is wise, all knowing.
நிச்சயமாக உம்முடைய இறைவன் (இறுதி நாளில்) அவர்களை ஒன்று திரட்டுவான்; நிச்சயமாக அவன் ஞானம் மிக்கவன்; (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிபவன்.

and on the day when he will raise them all, and then say to the angels, “did they worship you?”
(மலக்குகளை வணங்கி வந்த) அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் ஒன்று கூட்டும் அந்நாளில், அவன் மலக்குகளிடம் "இவர்கள்தானா உங்களை வணங்கிக்கொண்டு இருந்தார்கள்" என்று (அல்லாஹ்) கேட்பான்.

if you raise your hand to kill me, i will raise not mine to kill you, for i fear god, the lord of all the worlds;
அன்றியும், "நீ என்னை வெட்டுவதற்காக என்னளவில் உன் கையை நீட்டு வாயானால் நான் உன்னை வெட்டுவற்காக என் கையை உன்னளவில் நீட்ட மாட்டேன் - ஏனெனில் நான் நிச்சயமாக உலகங்களுக்கெல்லாம் இறைவனாகிய அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சுகிறேன்" (என்றும் கூறினார்).

and the hour is sure to come there is no doubt. and allah will raise up those in the graves.
(கியாம நாளுக்குரிய) அவ்வேளை நிச்சயமாக வரும்; இதில் சந்தேகமே இல்லை கப்ருகளில் இருப்போரை, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்புவான்.

there is no doubt about the coming of the hour of doom and that god will raise every one from their graves.
(கியாம நாளுக்குரிய) அவ்வேளை நிச்சயமாக வரும்; இதில் சந்தேகமே இல்லை கப்ருகளில் இருப்போரை, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்புவான்.

answer only will those who hear; as for the dead, god will raise them up, then unto him they will be returned.
(சத்தியத்திற்கு) செவிசாய்ப்போர்தாம் நிச்சயமாக உம் உபதேசத்தை ஏற்றுக் கொள்வார்கள்; (மற்றவர்கள் உயிரற்றவர்களைப் போன்றோரே!) இறந்தவர்களை அல்லாஹ் உயிர்ப்பித்து எழுப்புவான்; பின்னர் அவனிடமே அவர்கள் மீட்டப்படுவார்கள்.

and because the hour will come, there is no doubt thereof; and because allah will raise those who are in the graves.
(கியாம நாளுக்குரிய) அவ்வேளை நிச்சயமாக வரும்; இதில் சந்தேகமே இல்லை கப்ருகளில் இருப்போரை, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்புவான்.

and the day when we will raise from every nation an army that denies our signs – so the former groups will be held back for the latter to join them.
(அவர்களிலுள்ள) ஒவ்வொரு சமுதாயத்தாரிலும் நம் வசனங்களைப் பொய்ப்பித்தவர்களை(ப் பிரித்து) ஒரு படையாக நாம் சேகரிக்கும் நாளை (நபியே! நீர் நினைவூட்டுவீராக).

a chastisement that shall come upon them on the day when allah will raise them all to a new life and will inform them of their deeds. allah has recorded it all while they have forgotten it. allah is a witness over everything.
அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் அனைவரையும்உயிர் கொடுத்து எழுப்பி, பின்னர் அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றை அவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கும் நாளில், அவர்கள் அவற்றை மறந்து விட்ட போதிலும், அல்லாஹ் கணக்கெடுத்து வைத்திருக்கிறான். மேலும், அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் சாட்சியாக இருக்கின்றான்.

and as for the night, keep vigil a part of it, as a work of supererogation for thee; it may be that thy lord will raise thee up to a laudable station.
இன்னும் இரவில் (ஒரு சிறு) பகுதியில் உமக்கு உபரியான தஹஜ்ஜத் தொழுகையைத் தொழுது வருவீராக (இதன் பாக்கியத்தினால்) உம்முடைய இறைவன், 'மகாமம் மஹ்முதா' என்னும் (புகழ் பெற்ற) தலத்தில் உம்மை எழுப்பப் போதும்.

and during the night wake up and pray, as an additional prayer: it may well be that your lord will raise you to a station of praise and glory."
இன்னும் இரவில் (ஒரு சிறு) பகுதியில் உமக்கு உபரியான தஹஜ்ஜத் தொழுகையைத் தொழுது வருவீராக (இதன் பாக்கியத்தினால்) உம்முடைய இறைவன், 'மகாமம் மஹ்முதா' என்னும் (புகழ் பெற்ற) தலத்தில் உம்மை எழுப்பப் போதும்.

and keep vigil for a part of the night, as a supererogatory [devotion] for you. it may be that your lord will raise you to a praiseworthy station.
இன்னும் இரவில் (ஒரு சிறு) பகுதியில் உமக்கு உபரியான தஹஜ்ஜத் தொழுகையைத் தொழுது வருவீராக (இதன் பாக்கியத்தினால்) உம்முடைய இறைவன், 'மகாமம் மஹ்முதா' என்னும் (புகழ் பெற்ற) தலத்தில் உம்மை எழுப்பப் போதும்.

it is only those who hear (with sincere hearts) that accept faith; and allah will raise these people dead of heart, then towards him they will be herded.
(சத்தியத்திற்கு) செவிசாய்ப்போர்தாம் நிச்சயமாக உம் உபதேசத்தை ஏற்றுக் கொள்வார்கள்; (மற்றவர்கள் உயிரற்றவர்களைப் போன்றோரே!) இறந்தவர்களை அல்லாஹ் உயிர்ப்பித்து எழுப்புவான்; பின்னர் அவனிடமே அவர்கள் மீட்டப்படுவார்கள்.

and on the day when we will raise up in every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring you as a witness against these-- and we have revealed the book to you explaining clearly everything, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit.
இன்னும், ஒவ்வொரு சமூகத்திலும் அ(ந்த சமூகத்த)வர்களிலிருந்தே அவர்களுக்கு எதிர்சாட்சியை அவர்களுக்கு எதிராக, எழுப்பி அந்நாளில், உம்மை இவர்களுக்கு (உம்மை நிராகரிக்க முற்படும் இம்மக்களுக்கு) எதிராகச் சாட்சியாக நாம் கொண்டு வருவோம்; மேலும், இவ்வேதத்தை ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் தெளிவாக்குகிறதாகவும், நேர்வழி காட்டியதாகவும், ரஹ்மத்தாகவும், முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு நன்மாராயமாகவும் உம்மீது நாம் இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கிறோம்.

he sends forth the winds as carriers of the glad tidings between the hands of his mercy, and when they have carried up a heavy cloud, we drive it on to some dead land and therewith send down water bringing forth all manner of fruit. as such we will raise the dead, in order that you remember.
அவன் தான், தன்னுடைய அருள் (மாரிக்)கு முன், நற்செய்தியாக (குளிர்ந்த) காற்றுகளை அனுப்பிவைக்கிறான் அவை கனத்த மேகங்களைச் சுமக்கலானதும் நாம் அவற்றை இறந்து கிடக்கும் (வரண்ட) பூமியின் பக்கம் ஓட்டிச் சென்று, அதிலிருந்து மழையைப் பொழியச் செய்கின்றோம்; பின்னர் அதைக் கொண்டு எல்லாவிதமான கனிவகை (விளைச்சல்)களையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம் - இவ்வாறே நாம் இறந்தவர்களையும் எழுப்புவோம். (எனவே இவற்றை யெல்லாம் சிந்தித்து) நீங்கள் நல்லுணர்வு பெறுவீர்களாக.

it is god who sends forth the winds as harbingers of his mercy, and when they have gathered up the heavy clouds, we drive them on to a dead land where we cause rain to fall, bringing out all kinds of fruit, just as we will raise the dead to life. perhaps you will take heed.
அவன் தான், தன்னுடைய அருள் (மாரிக்)கு முன், நற்செய்தியாக (குளிர்ந்த) காற்றுகளை அனுப்பிவைக்கிறான் அவை கனத்த மேகங்களைச் சுமக்கலானதும் நாம் அவற்றை இறந்து கிடக்கும் (வரண்ட) பூமியின் பக்கம் ஓட்டிச் சென்று, அதிலிருந்து மழையைப் பொழியச் செய்கின்றோம்; பின்னர் அதைக் கொண்டு எல்லாவிதமான கனிவகை (விளைச்சல்)களையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம் - இவ்வாறே நாம் இறந்தவர்களையும் எழுப்புவோம். (எனவே இவற்றை யெல்லாம் சிந்தித்து) நீங்கள் நல்லுணர்வு பெறுவீர்களாக.
