know that god is severe in punishment, yet most forgiving and merciful.
அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தண்டனை கொடுப்பதில் கடுமையானவன். மேலும். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (மிகவும்) மன்னிப்போனும், பெருங்கருணையாளனுமாவான்,

do they not know that god is aware of what they hide and what they disclose?
அவர்கள் மறைத்து வைப்பதையும், அவர்கள் வெளிப்படுத்துவதையும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிவான் என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிய மாட்டார்களா?

know that the punishment of god is severe, but that god is also forgiving and kind.
அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தண்டனை கொடுப்பதில் கடுமையானவன். மேலும். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (மிகவும்) மன்னிப்போனும், பெருங்கருணையாளனுமாவான்,

but those who repent before they are subdued should know that god is forgiving and kind.
நீங்கள் அவர்கள் மீது சக்தி பெறுமுன் திருந்திக் கொள்கிறார்களே அவர்களைத் தவிர, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பவனாகவும் கருணையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

but if you slip after the proofs have come to you, know that god is powerful and wise.
தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகள் உங்களிடம் வந்த பின்னரும் நீங்கள் சருகிவிடுவீர்களானால்- நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வலிமை மிக்கவன்;, பேரறிவாளன் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

the bible reveals that god is our enjoyment and that all the riches of god, what god is in his fullness, are the riches of christ
தேவன் நம் அனுபவமகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறார் என்றும், தேவனுடைய ஐசுவரியங்கள் யாவும், அதாவது, தேவன் தம் முழுமையில் இருப்பது யாவும் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஐசுவரியங்கள் என்றும் வேதம் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.

and if they turn away, know that god is your protector. the best protector, and the best supporter.
அவர்கள் மாறு செய்தால், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களுடைய பாதுகாவலன் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் - அவன் பாதுகாப்பதிலும் மிகச் சிறந்தவன்; இன்னும் உதவி செய்வதிலும் மிகவும் சிறந்தவன்.

but if you lapse after the clear signs that have come to you, then know that god is mighty and wise.
தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகள் உங்களிடம் வந்த பின்னரும் நீங்கள் சருகிவிடுவீர்களானால்- நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வலிமை மிக்கவன்;, பேரறிவாளன் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

'that is for what thy hands have forwarded and for that god is never unjust unto his servants.'
"உன்னுடைய இரு கரங்களும் முன்னரே அனுப்பியுள்ளதற்காக இரு (கூலியாக) இருக்கிறது; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அடியார்களுக்கு ஒரு சிறிதும் அநியாயம் செய்பவனல்லன்" (என்று அந்நாளில் அவர்களிடம் கூறப்படும்)

deem not that god is heedless of what the evildoers work; he is only deferring them to a day when eyes shall stare,
மேலும் அக்கிரமக்காரர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருப்பதைப் பற்றி அல்லாஹ் பராமுகமாக இருக்கிறான் என்று (நபியே!) நீர் நிச்சயமாக எண்ண வேண்டாம்; அவர்களுக்கு (தண்டனையை) தாமதப் படுத்துவதெல்லாம், கண்கள் விரைத்துப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டேயிருக்கும் (அந்த மறுமை) நாளுக்காகத்தான்.

and beware of discord which does not afflict the wrongdoers among you exclusively; and know that god is severe in retribution.
நீங்கள் வேதனைக்கு பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; அது உங்களில் அநியாயம் செய்தவர்களை மட்டும்தான் குறிப்பாகப் பிடிக்கும் என்பதில்லை - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தண்டனை அளிப்பதில் கடுமையானவன் என்பதையும் நன்கு அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

and beware of an affliction that will not smite exclusively those among you who have done wrong. know that god is severe in exacting retribution.
நீங்கள் வேதனைக்கு பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; அது உங்களில் அநியாயம் செய்தவர்களை மட்டும்தான் குறிப்பாகப் பிடிக்கும் என்பதில்லை - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தண்டனை அளிப்பதில் கடுமையானவன் என்பதையும் நன்கு அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

but if you slip, after the clear signs have come to you, know then that god is all-mighty, all-wise.
தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகள் உங்களிடம் வந்த பின்னரும் நீங்கள் சருகிவிடுவீர்களானால்- நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வலிமை மிக்கவன்;, பேரறிவாளன் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

believers! fight against those deniers of the truth who are near you. deal firmly with them. know that god is with those who fear him.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களே! உங்களை அடுத்திருக்கும் (தொல்லை விளைவிக்கும்) காஃபிர்களுடன் போர் புரியுங்கள்; உங்களிடம் கடுமையை அவர்கள் காணட்டும் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் பயபக்தியுடையவர்களுடன் இருக்கிறன். என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

and for whatever verse we abrogate or cast into oblivion, we bring a better or the like of it; knowest thou not that god is powerful over everything?
ஏதேனும் ஒரு வசனத்தை நாம் மாற்றினால் அல்லது அதனை மறக்கச் செய்தால் அதைவிட சிறந்ததையோ அல்லது அது போன்றதையோ நாம் கொண்டுவருவோம். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அனைத்துப்பொருட்களின் மீதும் சக்தியுள்ளவன் என்பதை நீர் அறியவில்லையா?

god himself testifies that he is the only lord. the angels and the men of knowledge and justice testify that god is the only lord, the majestic, and all-wise.
அல்லாஹ் நீதியை நிலைநாட்டக்கூடியவனாக உள்ள நிலையில் அவனைத்தவிர வணக்கத்திற்குரியவன் யாருமில்லை என்று சாட்சி கூறுகிறான். மேலும் மலக்குகளும் அறிவுடையோரும் (இவ்வாறே சாட்சி கூறுகின்றனர்.) அவனைத் தவிர வணக்கத்திற்குரியவன் யாருமில்லை அவன் மிகைத்தவன், ஞானமிக்கவன்.

be it known to those who want worldly rewards that god holds the rewards for this life as well as the life to come. god is all-hearing and all-seeing.
எவரேனும் இவ்வுலகின் பலனை(மட்டும்) அடைய விரும்பினால், "அல்லாஹ்விடம் இவ்வுலகப்பலனும், மறுவுலகப்பலனும் உள்ளன. அல்லாஹ் கேட்பவனாகவும் பார்ப்பவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்."

(muhammad), do not think that god is unaware of what the unjust people do. he only gives them a respite until the day when the eyes will stare fixedly,
மேலும் அக்கிரமக்காரர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருப்பதைப் பற்றி அல்லாஹ் பராமுகமாக இருக்கிறான் என்று (நபியே!) நீர் நிச்சயமாக எண்ண வேண்டாம்; அவர்களுக்கு (தண்டனையை) தாமதப் படுத்துவதெல்லாம், கண்கள் விரைத்துப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டேயிருக்கும் (அந்த மறுமை) நாளுக்காகத்தான்.

do they not know that god is he who accepts repentance from his servants, and takes the freewill offerings, and that god -- he turns, and is all-compassionate?
நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களிடமிருந்து தவ்பாவை - மன்னிப்புக் கோருதலை - ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறான் என்பதையும், (அவர்களுடைய) தர்மங்களை அங்கீகரிக்கிறான் என்பதையும் அவர்கள் அறியவில்லையா? மெய்யாகவே அல்லாஹ் தவ்பாவை ஏற்று அருள் புரிபவன்.

that is because god would never change his favour that he conferred on a people until they changed what was within themselves; and that god is all-hearing, all-knowing.
"ஏனெனில், எந்த ஒரு சமுதாயமும் தன் உள்ளத்திலுள்ள (போக்குகளை) மாற்றிக் கொள்ளாத வரையில், அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு வழங்கிய அருட்கொடைகளை மாற்றிவிடுவதில்லை - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (எல்லாவற்றையும்) செவியுறுபவனாகவும், (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.
