தூய்மையடைந்தவன், திட்டமாக வெற்றி பெறுகிறான்.

blessed is he who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon.
வான (மண்டல)த்தில் கோளங்கள் சுழன்று வரும் பாதைகளை உண்டாக்கி, அவற்றிடையே ஒரு விளக்கை (சூரியனை)யும்; ஒளிவான சந்திரனையும் உண்டாக்கினானே அவன் பாக்கியமுள்ளவன்.

it is he who has fed them when they were hungry
இவ்வீட்டின் (கஅபாவின்) இறைவனை அவர்கள் வணங்குவார்களாக.

it is he who has caused the grass to grow,
அன்றியும் அவனே (கால் நடைகளுக்கென) மேய்ச்சலுக்குரியவற்றையும் வெளியாக்கினான்.

(he) who has fed them against hunger, and has made them safe from fear.
அவனே, அவர்களுக்கு பசிக்கு உணவளித்தான்; மேலும் அவர்களுக்கு அச்சத்திலிருந்தும் அபயமளித்தான்.

and it is he who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection.
அவன்தான் உங்களுக்கு இரவை ஆடையாகவும், நித்திரையை இளைப்பாறுதலாகவும் ஆக்கியிருக்கின்றான்; இன்னும், அவனே பகலை உழைப்பிற்கு ஏற்றவாறு ஆக்கியிருக்கிறான்.

and that it is he who has given wealth and contentment?
நிச்சயமாக அவனே தேவையறச் செய்து சீமானாக்குகிறான்.

it is he who has made the night as a covering for you, sleep as a rest for you, and the day for you to rise again.
அவன்தான் உங்களுக்கு இரவை ஆடையாகவும், நித்திரையை இளைப்பாறுதலாகவும் ஆக்கியிருக்கின்றான்; இன்னும், அவனே பகலை உழைப்பிற்கு ஏற்றவாறு ஆக்கியிருக்கிறான்.

and he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it.
அன்றியும், எவன் ஓர் அனுவளவு தீமை செய்திருந்தாலும், அ(தற்குரிய பல)னையும் அவன் கண்டு கொள்வான்.

and that it is he who has created the two pairs, male and female?
இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக அவனே ஆண், பெண் என்று ஜோடியாகப் படைத்தான் -

except he who has done evil, then, after evil, has changed into good. i am the forgiving, most merciful.
ஆயினும், தீங்கிழைத்தவரைத் தவிர அ(த்தகைய)வரும் (தாம் செய்த) தீமையை (உணர்ந்து அதை) நன்மையானதாக மாற்றிக் கொண்டால், நிச்சயமாக நான் மிக மன்னிப்பவனாகவும், மிக்க கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றேன்.

and he who has come with the very truth and confirms it, those they are the godfearing.
அன்றியும், உண்மையைக் கொண்டு வந்தவரும், அவ்வுண்மையை ஏற்(று உறுதிப்படுத்து)பவர்களும் - இவர்கள் தாம் - பயபக்தியுடையவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

and it is he who has created you on the earth, and to him you shall be gathered back.
மேலும், அவன்தான் உங்களை இப்பூமியில் பல்கிப் பெருகச் செய்தான்; இன்னும், அவனிடத்திலேயே நீங்கள் ஒன்று திரட்டப்படுவீர்கள்.

but he who has done good things and believes, will have no fear of either being wronged or deprived.
எவர் முஃமினாக இருந்து, ஸாலிஹான நற்செயல்களைச் செய்கிறாரோ அவர் தமக்கு அநியாயம் செய்யப்படுமென்றோ, (தமக்குரிய) நற்கூலி குறைந்துவிடுமென்றோ பயப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

allah, it is he who has made cattle for you, that you may ride on some of them and of some you eat.
அல்லாஹ்தான் கால் நடைகளை உங்களுக்காக உண்டாக்கியிருக்கிறான் - அவற்றில் சிலவற்றின் மீது நீங்கள் சவாரி செய்கிறீர்கள் - இன்னும் அவற்றி(ல் சிலவற்றி)லிருந்து நீங்கள் புசிக்கிறீர்கள்.

if they try to cheat you, god is surely sufficient for you. it is he who has strengthened you with his help and with believers
அவர்கள் உம்மை ஏமாற்ற எண்ணினால் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் உமக்குப் போதுமானவன் - அவன் தான் உம்மைத் தன் உதவியைக் கொண்டும், முஃமின்களைக் கொண்டும் பலப்படுத்தினான்.

"who has created me, and it is he who guides me;
"அவனே என்னைப் படைத்தான்; பின்னும், அவனே எனக்கு நேர்வழி காண்பிக்கிறான்.

allah does not love the shouting of evil words, except by he who has been wronged. he is the hearer, the knower.
அநியாயம் செய்யப்பட்டவர்களைத் தவிர (வேறு யாரும்) வார்த்தைகளில் தீயவற்றை பகிரங்கமாகக் கூறுவதை அல்லாஹ் விரும்பவில்லை - அல்லாஹ் நன்கு செவியுறுவோனாகவும் யாவற்றையும் அறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

and, (it is he) who has created all the pairs and appointed for you ships and the cattle on which you ride,
அவன் தான் ஜோடிகள் யாவையும் படைத்தான்; உங்களுக்காக, கப்பல்களையும், நீங்கள் சவாரி செய்யும் கால்நடைகளையும் உண்டாக்கினான் -

he said, "shall i seek a deity for you other than god, while it is he who has exalted you above all peoples?
"அன்றியும், அல்லாஹ் அல்லாத ஒன்றையா நான் உங்களுக்கு இறைவனாக தேடி வைப்பேன்? அவனோ உங்களை உலகத்திலுள்ள எல்லா மக்களையும்விட மேன்மையாக்கி வைத்துள்ளான்" என்றும் அவர் கூறினார்.
