"அன்றியும், நான் என் மனதைப் பாவத்தைவிட்டும் பரிசத்தமாக்கி விட்டதாகவும் (கூற) இல்லை, ஏனெனில் மன இச்சையானது தீமையைத் தூண்டக்கூடியதாக இருக்கிறது - என் இறைவன் அருள்புரிந்தாலன்றி; நிச்சயமாக என் இறைவன் மிக்க மன்னிப்பவனாகவும், அருளானனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்" (என்றுங் கூறினார்).

tell them: "i am not master of my own gain or loss but as god may please. if i had the knowledge of the unknown i would have enjoyed abundance of the good, and no evil would have touched me. i am only a bearer of warnings and bringer of happy news for those who believe."
(நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்; "அல்லாஹ் நாடினாலன்றி நான் எனக்கே யாதொரு நன்மையோ அல்லது தீமையோ செய்து கொள்ள சக்தியில்லாதவன்; மறைந்திருப்பவற்றை நான் அறிபவனாக இருந்தால் நம்மைகளை அதிகமாகத் தேடிக்கொண்டிருப்பேன்; (அந்நிலையில் எவ்விதமான) தீங்கும் என்னைத் தீண்டியிராது - நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளும் மக்களுக்கு நான் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவனும், நன்மாராயம் கூறுபவனுமேயன்றி வேறில்லை."

say (o dear prophet mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “i do not say to you that i possess the treasures of allah, nor do i say that i gain knowledge of the hidden on my own, nor do i say to you that i am an angel; i only follow what is divinely revealed to me”; say, “will the blind and the sighted ever be equal? so do you not think?”
(நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்; "என்னிடத்தில் அல்லாஹ்வின் பொக்கிஷங்கள் இருக்கின்றன என்று நான் உங்களிடம் கூறவில்லை. மறைவானவற்றை நான் அறியமாட்டேன்; நிச்சயமாக நான் ஒரு மலக்காக இருக்கின்றேன் என்றும் நான் உங்களிடம் சொல்லவில்லை எனக்கு (வஹீயாக) அறிவிக்கப்பட்டதைத் தவிர (வேறு எதையும்) நான் பின்பற்றவில்லை." இன்னும் நீர் கூறும்; "குருடனும் பார்வையுடைவனும் சமமாவாரா? நீங்கள் சிந்திக்க வேண்டாமா?"
