"அறிவிலிகளே! நான் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவற்றை வணங்க வேண்டுமென்று என்னை நீங்கள் ஏவுகிறீர்களா?" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

who wants to expel you from your land [through magic], so what do you instruct?"
(அதற்கு, ஃபிர்அவ்ன்), "இவர் உங்களை, உங்களுடைய நாட்டை விட்டும் வெளியேற்ற நாடுகிறார்; எனவே (இதைப்பற்றி) நீங்கள் கூறும் யோசனை யாது?" (என்று கேட்டான்.)

for he will only instruct you towards the evil and the shameful, and that you fabricate matters concerning allah, what you do not know.

instruct your family to pray and to be steadfast in their worship. we do not ask any sustenance from you; it is we who give you sustenance. know that piety will have a happy end.
(நபியே!) உம் குடும்பத்தினரைத் தொழுது வருமாறு நீர் ஏவுவீராக! (தொழுகையின் மீது) நீர் பொறுமையும், உறுதியும் கொண்டிருப்பீராக! நாம் உம்மிடம் உணவு கேட்கவில்லை ஆனால் உமக்கு உணவை நாம் கொடுக்கிறோம்; இறுதியாகச் சிறந்த நிலை பயபக்தி(யுடையோரு)க்குத் தான்.

nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for lords and patrons. what! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (to allah in islam)?
மேலும் அவர், "மலக்குகளையும், நபிமார்களையும் (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய இரட்சகர்களாக) ரப்புகளாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்" என்றும் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடமாட்டார் - நீங்கள் முஸ்லிம்களாக (அல்லாஹ்விடமே முற்றிலும் சரணடைந்தவர்கள்) ஆகிவிட்ட பின்னர் (நீங்கள் அவனை) நிராகரிப்போராகி விடுங்கள் என்று அவர் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவாரா?.

"our lord! send amongst them a messenger of their own (and indeed allah answered their invocation by sending muhammad peace be upon him), who shall recite unto them your verses and instruct them in the book (this quran) and al-hikmah (full knowledge of the islamic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or prophethood, etc.), and sanctify them. verily! you are the all-mighty, the all-wise."
"எங்கள் இறைவனே! அவர்களிடையே உன்னுடைய வசனங்களை ஓதிக் காண்பித்து, அவர்களுக்கு வேதத்தையும், ஞானத்தையும் கற்றுக் கொடுத்து, அவர்களைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்தக் கூடிய ஒரு தூதரை அவர்களிலிருந்தே எழுந்திடச் செய்வாயாக - நிச்சயமாக நீயே வல்லமை மிக்கோனாகவும், பெரும் ஞானமுடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றாய்."
