a book whereof the verses are detailed: an arabic qur'an: for a people who know:
அரபுமொழியில் அமைந்த இக் குர்ஆனுடைய வசனங்கள் அறிந்துணரும் மக்களுக்குத் தெளிவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

here are their homes, in ruins, on account of their iniquities. surely in this is a sign for people who know.
ஆகவே, அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்து வந்த காரணத்தால் (அதோ அழிந்து போன) அவர்களுடைய வீடுகள் அதோ பாழடைந்து கிடக்கின்றன நிச்சயமாக இதிலே, அறியக் கூடிய சமூகத்தாருக்கு அத்தாட்சி இருக்கிறது.

so these are their houses fallen flat, the recompense of their injustice; indeed in this is a sign for people who know.
ஆகவே, அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்து வந்த காரணத்தால் (அதோ அழிந்து போன) அவர்களுடைய வீடுகள் அதோ பாழடைந்து கிடக்கின்றன நிச்சயமாக இதிலே, அறியக் கூடிய சமூகத்தாருக்கு அத்தாட்சி இருக்கிறது.

and thus do we repeat the communications and that they may say: you have read; and that we may make it clear to a people who know.
நீர் (பல வேதங்களிலிருந்து) காப்பி அடித்து இருக்கிறீர் என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவதற்காகவும் அறியக்கூடிய மக்களுக்கு அதனை நாம் தெளிவு படுத்துவதற்காகவும் (நமது) வசனங்களை இவ்வாறே விளக்குகிறோம்.

and it is he who created the stars for you, that you may be guided by them in the darkness of land and sea. we thus explain the revelations for people who know.
அவனே உங்களுக்காக நட்சத்திரங்களை உண்டாக்கினான்; அவற்றைக் கொண்டு நீங்கள் கரையிலும், கடலிலும் உள்ள இருள்களில் நீங்கள் வழியறிந்து செல்கிறீர்கள் - அறியக்கூடிய மக்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக (நம்) வசனங்களை இவ்வாறு விவரிக்கிறோம்.

and among his signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the differences in your languages and colours; indeed in this are signs for people who know.
மேலும் வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் படைத்திருப்பதும்; உங்களுடைய மொழிகளும் உங்களுடைய நிறங்களும் வேறுபட்டிருப்பதும், அவனுடைய அத்தாட்சிகளில் உள்ளவையாகும். நிச்சயமாக இதில் கற்றரிந்தோருக்கு அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

and he it is who has made the stars for you that you might follow the right way thereby in the darkness of the land and the sea; truly we have made plain the communications for a people who know.
அவனே உங்களுக்காக நட்சத்திரங்களை உண்டாக்கினான்; அவற்றைக் கொண்டு நீங்கள் கரையிலும், கடலிலும் உள்ள இருள்களில் நீங்கள் வழியறிந்து செல்கிறீர்கள் - அறியக்கூடிய மக்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக (நம்) வசனங்களை இவ்வாறு விவரிக்கிறோம்.

and should one of the associators seek protection of thee grant him protection, that he may hear the word of allah, then let him reach his place of security. that is because they are a people who know not.
(நபியே!) முஷ்ரிக்குகளில் யாரேனும் உம்மிடம் புகலிடம் தேடி வந்தால், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களை அவர் செவியேற்கும் வரையில் அவருக்கு அபயமளிப்பீராக அதன் பின் அவரை அவருக்குப் பாதுகாப்புக் கிடைக்கும் வேறு இடத்திற்கு (பத்திரமாக) அனுப்புவீராக - ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக அறியாத சமூகத்தினராக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

and thus do we diversify the verses so the disbelievers will say, "you have studied," and so we may make the qur'an clear for a people who know.
நீர் (பல வேதங்களிலிருந்து) காப்பி அடித்து இருக்கிறீர் என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவதற்காகவும் அறியக்கூடிய மக்களுக்கு அதனை நாம் தெளிவு படுத்துவதற்காகவும் (நமது) வசனங்களை இவ்வாறே விளக்குகிறோம்.

if they repent and establish prayer and give the poor- rate, then they are your brethren-in-faith. and we detail the revelations unto a people who know.
ஆயினும் அவர்கள் தவ்பா செய்து (மனந்திருந்தி தம் தவறுகளிலிருந்து விலகி) தொழுகையைக் கடைப்படித்து, ஜகாத்தையும் (முறையாக) கொடுத்து வருவார்களானால், அவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு மார்க்கச் சதோதரர்களே நாம் அறிவுள்ள சமூகத்தினருக்கு (நம்) வசனங்களை விளக்குகிறோம்.

he it is who made the sun a shining brightness and the moon a light, and ordained for it mansions that you might know the computation of years and the reckoning. allah did not create it but with truth; he makes the signs manifest for a people who know.
அவன்தான் சூரியனைச் (சடர்விடும்) பிரகாசமாகவும், சந்திரணை ஒளிவுள்ளதாகவும் ஆக்கினான். ஆண்டுகளின் எண்ணிக்கையையும், காலக்கணக்கையும் நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளும் பொருட்டு(ச் சந்திரனாகிய) அதற்கு மாறி மாறி வரும் பல படித்தரங்களை உண்டாக்கினான்; அல்லாஹ் உண்மை(யாக தக்க காரணம்) கொண்டேயல்லாது இவற்றைப் படைக்கவில்லை - அவன் (இவ்வாறு) அறிவுள்ள மக்களுக்குத் தன் அத்தாட்சிகளை விவிரிக்கின்றான்.

it is he who made the sun radiant, and the moon a light, and determined phases for it—that you may know the number of years and the calculation. god did not create all this except with truth. he details the revelations for a people who know.
அவன்தான் சூரியனைச் (சடர்விடும்) பிரகாசமாகவும், சந்திரணை ஒளிவுள்ளதாகவும் ஆக்கினான். ஆண்டுகளின் எண்ணிக்கையையும், காலக்கணக்கையும் நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளும் பொருட்டு(ச் சந்திரனாகிய) அதற்கு மாறி மாறி வரும் பல படித்தரங்களை உண்டாக்கினான்; அல்லாஹ் உண்மை(யாக தக்க காரணம்) கொண்டேயல்லாது இவற்றைப் படைக்கவில்லை - அவன் (இவ்வாறு) அறிவுள்ள மக்களுக்குத் தன் அத்தாட்சிகளை விவிரிக்கின்றான்.

it is he who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. allah has not created this except in truth. he details the signs for a people who know
அவன்தான் சூரியனைச் (சடர்விடும்) பிரகாசமாகவும், சந்திரணை ஒளிவுள்ளதாகவும் ஆக்கினான். ஆண்டுகளின் எண்ணிக்கையையும், காலக்கணக்கையும் நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளும் பொருட்டு(ச் சந்திரனாகிய) அதற்கு மாறி மாறி வரும் பல படித்தரங்களை உண்டாக்கினான்; அல்லாஹ் உண்மை(யாக தக்க காரணம்) கொண்டேயல்லாது இவற்றைப் படைக்கவில்லை - அவன் (இவ்வாறு) அறிவுள்ள மக்களுக்குத் தன் அத்தாட்சிகளை விவிரிக்கின்றான்.

say thou: who hath forbidden the adornment which allah hath produced for his servants and the clean things of food? say thou: these on the day of judgement, shall be for those alone who in the life of this world have believed. thus we expound the signs unto a people who know.
(நபியே!) நீர் கேட்பீராக "அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களுக்காக வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ள (ஆடை) அழகையும், உணவு வகைகளில் தூய்மையானவற்றையும் தடுத்தது யார்?" இன்னும் கூறும்; "அவை இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு (அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டவையே, எனினும் மறுமையில்) அவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே சொந்தமானவையாகவும் இருக்கும்" இவ்வாறு நாம் நம் வசனங்களை அறியக்கூடிய மக்களுக்கு விவரிக்கின்றோம்.
