இன்னும் புலவர்கள் (எத்தகையோரென்றால்) அவர்களை வழிகேடர்கள் தாம் பின்பற்றுகிறார்கள்.

and hell is brought near to the perverse'
"வழி தவறியவர்களுக்கு எதிரே நரகம் கொண்டு வரப்படும்."

and the poets -- the perverse follow them;
இன்னும் புலவர்கள் (எத்தகையோரென்றால்) அவர்களை வழிகேடர்கள் தாம் பின்பற்றுகிறார்கள்.

and hell will be brought into view for the perverse,
"வழி தவறியவர்களுக்கு எதிரே நரகம் கொண்டு வரப்படும்."

as for the perverse, they will be firewood for hell.
"அக்கிரமக்காரர்களோ நரகத்திற்கு எரி விறகாய் விட்டனர்" (என்று அந்த ஜின் கூறிற்று).

and they will be pitched into it, they and the perverse
பின்னர், அவை முகங்குப்புற அ(ந் நரகத்)தில் தள்ளப்படும் - அவையும் (அவற்றை) வணங்கி வழி தவறிப் போனவர்களும் -

then they shall be pitched into it, they and the perverse
பின்னர், அவை முகங்குப்புற அ(ந் நரகத்)தில் தள்ளப்படும் - அவையும் (அவற்றை) வணங்கி வழி தவறிப் போனவர்களும் -

as for the poets, [only] the perverse follow them.
இன்னும் புலவர்கள் (எத்தகையோரென்றால்) அவர்களை வழிகேடர்கள் தாம் பின்பற்றுகிறார்கள்.

so we perverted you, for we were perverse [ourselves].’
"(ஆம்) நாங்கள் உங்களை வழிகெடுத்தோம்; நிச்சயமாக நாங்களே வழிகெட்டுத்தான் இருந்தோம்."

being perverse; gehenna shall be their promised land all together.
நிச்சயமாக (உன்மைப் பின்பற்றும்) அனைவருக்கும் நரகம் வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட இடமாகும்.

indeed, as for my servants you do not have any authority over them, except the perverse who follow you,
"நிச்சயமாக என் அடியார்கள் மீது உனக்கு எவ்வித அதிகாரமும் இல்லை - உன்னைப் பின்பற்றி வழிகெட்டவர்களைத் தவிர" என்று கூறினான்.

we have sent down to thee manifest signs (ayat); and none reject them but those who are perverse.
(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நாம் மிகத்தெளிவான வசனங்களை உம்மீது இறக்கிவைத்திருக்கிறோம்; பாவிகளைத் தவிர (வேறு எவரும்) அவற்றை நிராகரிக்க மாட்டார்கள்.

relate to them an account of him to whom we gave our signs, but he cast them off. thereupon satan pursued him, and he became one of the perverse.
(நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு மனிதனுடைய வரலாற்றை ஓதிக்காட்டுவீராக! அவனுக்கு நாம் நம் அத்தாட்சிகளைக் கொடுத்திருந்தோம்; எனினும் அவன் அவற்றை விட்டு முற்றிலும் நழுவிவிட்டான்; அப்போது அவனை ஷைத்தான் பின் தொடர்ந்தான் - அதனால் அவன் வழி தவறியவர்களில் ஒருவனாகி விட்டான்.

god of you all is one god; so those who believe not in the hereafter-their hearts are perverse and they are stiff-necked.
உங்களுடைய நாயன் ஒரே நாயன்தான்; எனவே, எவர்கள் மறுமையை நம்பவில்லையே, அவர்களுடைய நெஞ்சங்கள் (இவ்வுண்மையை) நிராகரிப்பவையாக இருக்கின்றன - மேலும் அவர்கள் (ஆணவங் கொண்டு) பெருமையடிப்பவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

among us some are muslims and some of us are perverse.” ’ those who submit [to allah]—it is they who pursue rectitude.
"இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக, நம்மில் முஸ்லிம்களும் இருக்கின்றனர். நம்மில் அக்கிரமக்காரர்களும் இருக்கின்றனர் - எவர்கள் முஸ்லிம்களாகி (வழிப்பட்டார்களோ) அவர்கள் தாம் நேர்வழியைத் தேடிக் கொண்டனர்.

allah has promised to those among you who believe and do righteous deeds, that he will make them successors in the land just as he made those who passed away before them, and that he will establish their religion, which he has approved for them, on strong foundations and will change their (present) state of fear into peace and security. let them worship me and associate none with me; and the one who disbelieves after this," shall be of those who are perverse transgressors.
உங்களில் எவர் ஈமான் கொண்டு (ஸாலிஹான) - நற்செயல்கள் புரிகிறார்களோ அவர்களை, அவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தோரை(ப் பூமிக்கு) ஆட்சியாளர்களாக்கியது போல் பூமிக்கு நிச்சயமாக ஆட்சியாளர்களாக்கி வைப்பதாகவும், இன்னும் அவன் அவர்களுக்காக பொருந்திக் கொண்ட மார்க்கத்தில் அவர்களை நிச்சயமாக நிலைப்படுத்துவதாகவும், அவர்களுடைய அச்சத்தைத் திட்டமாக அமைதியைக் கொண்டு மாற்றி விடுவதாகவும், அல்லாஹ் வாக்களித்திருக்கிறான்; "அவர்கள் என்னோடு (எதையும், எவரையும்) இணைவைக்காது, அவர்கள் என்னையே வணங்குவார்கள்;" இதன் பின்னர் (உங்களில்) எவர் மாறு செய்(து நிராகரிக்)கிறாரோ அவர்கள் பாவிகள்தாம்.
