and let there be among you a community calling to virtue, and advocating righteousness, and deterring from evil. these are the successful.
மேலும், (மக்களை) நன்மையின் பக்கம் அழைப்பவர்களாகவும், நல்லதைக் கொண்டு (மக்களை) ஏவுபவர்களாகவும் தீயதிலிருந்து (மக்களை) விலக்குபவர்களாகவும் உங்களிலிருந்து ஒரு கூட்டத்தார் இருக்கட்டும் - இன்னும் அவர்களே வெற்றி பெற்றோராவர்.

let there be one nation of you, calling to good, and bidding to honour, and forbidding dishonour; those are the prosperers.

"எங்கள் இறைவனே! உங்கள் இறைவன் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளுங்கள் என்று ஈமானின் பக்கம் அழைத்தவரின் அழைப்பைச் செவிமடுத்து நாங்கள் திடமாக ஈமான் கொண்டோம்; "எங்கள் இறைவனே! எங்களுக்கு, எங்கள் பாவங்களை மன்னிப்பாயாக! எங்கள் தீமைகளை எங்களை விட்டும் அகற்றி விடுவாயாக! இன்னும், எங்க(ளுடைய ஆன்மாக்க)ளைச் சான்றோர்களு(டைய ஆன்மாக்களு)டன் கைப்பற்றுவாயாக!" (என்றும்;).

our lord verily we heard a caller calling to belief: believe in your lord, wherefore we have come to believe. our lord forgive us our sins, and expiate from us our misdeeds, and let us die along with the pious.

(என்றும்;).

do not make the calling of the messenger among yourselves like your calling to one another. allah knows those of you who slip away surreptitiously, so let those who disobey his command beware, lest they are struck by sedition, or, they are stricken with a painful punishment.
(முஃமின்களே!) உங்களில் ஒருவர் மற்றொருவரை அழைப்பதுபோல் உங்களுக்கிடையில் (அல்லாஹ்வுடைய) தூதரின் அழைப்பை ஆக்காதீர்கள். உங்களிலிருந்து (அவருடைய சபையிலிருந்து) எவர் மறைவாக நழுவி விடுகிறார்களோ அவர்களை திடமாக அல்லாஹ் (நன்கு) அறிவான் - ஆகவே எவர் அவருடைய கட்டளைக்கு மாறு செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தங்களை சோதனை பிடித்துக் கொள்வதையோ, அல்லது தங்களை நோவினை தரும் வேதனை பிடித்துக் கொள்வதையோ அஞ்சிக் கொள்ளட்டும்.
