"allah has begotten children"? but they are liars!

and among them are unlettered ones who do not know the scripture except in wishful thinking, but they are only assuming.
மேலும் அவர்களில் எழுத்தறிவில்லாதோரும் இருக்கின்றனர்; கட்டுக் கதைகளை(அறிந்து வைத்திருக்கிறார்களே) தவிர வேதத்தை அறிந்து வைத்திருக்கவில்லை. மேலும் அவர்கள் (ஆதாரமற்ற) கற்பனை செய்வோர்களாக அன்றி வேறில்லை.

and some men there are who say, 'we believe in god and the last day'; but they are not believers.
இன்னும் மனிதர்களில் "நாங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும், இறுதி(த் தீர்ப்பு) நாள் மீதும் ஈமான் (நம்பிக்கை) கொள்கிறோம்" என்று கூறுவோறும் இருக்கின்றனர்; ஆனால் (உண்மையில்) அவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோர் அல்லர்.

and they swear by allah that they are in truth of you, when they are not of you, but they are folk who are afraid.
நிச்சயமாகத் தாங்களும் உங்களைச் சார்ந்தவர்களே என்று அல்லாஹ்வின்மீது சத்தியம் செய்து சொல்கின்றனர்; அவர்கள் உங்களைச் சார்ந்தவர்கள் அல்லர்; என்றாலும் அவர்கள் பயந்த கூட்டத்தினர்தான்.

and say: are our gods better, or is he? they raise not the objection save for argument. nay! but they are a contentious folk.
மேலும்; "எங்கள் தெய்வங்கள் மேலா? அல்லது அவர் மேலா?" என்றும் அவர்கள் கேட்கிறார்கள்; அவரை வீண் தர்க்கத்திற்காகவே உம்மிடம் உதாரணமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள்; ஆகவே அவர்கள் விதண்டா வாதம் செய்யும் சமூகத்தாரேயாவர்.

among the people are those who say, “we believe in god and in the last day,” but they are not believers.
இன்னும் மனிதர்களில் "நாங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும், இறுதி(த் தீர்ப்பு) நாள் மீதும் ஈமான் (நம்பிக்கை) கொள்கிறோம்" என்று கூறுவோறும் இருக்கின்றனர்; ஆனால் (உண்மையில்) அவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோர் அல்லர்.

when you give importance to people, they think that you are always free. but they don't understand that you make yourself available for them everytime
நீங்கள் மக்களுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கும்போது, நீங்கள் எப்போதும் சுதந்திரமாக இருப்பதாக அவர்கள் நினைக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் நீங்கள் எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் அவர்களுக்கு உங்களைக் கிடைக்கச் செய்கிறீர்கள் என்பதை அவர்கள் புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை

and they forbid it, and keep afar from it, and it is only themselves they destroy, but they are not aware.
மேலும் அவர்கள் (பிறரையும்) அதை (கேட்கவிடாது) தடுக்கிறார்கள்; இவர்களும் அதைவிட்டு ஒதுங்கிக் கொள்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் தங்களைத் தாங்களே நாசமாக்கிக் கொள்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் அவர்கள் (இதைப்) புரிந்து கொள்வதில்லை.

and say, 'what, are our gods better, or he?' they cite not him to thee, save to dispute;. nay, but they are a people contentious.
மேலும்; "எங்கள் தெய்வங்கள் மேலா? அல்லது அவர் மேலா?" என்றும் அவர்கள் கேட்கிறார்கள்; அவரை வீண் தர்க்கத்திற்காகவே உம்மிடம் உதாரணமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள்; ஆகவே அவர்கள் விதண்டா வாதம் செய்யும் சமூகத்தாரேயாவர்.

or who is he that will provide for you if he should withhold his providence? nay, but they are set in pride and frowardness.
அல்லது, தான் உணவளிப்பதை அவன் தடுத்துக் கொண்டால், உங்களுக்கு உணவளிப்பவர் யார்? அப்படியல்ல, ஆனால், இவர்கள் மாறு செய்வதிலும் (சத்தியத்தை) வெறுப்பதிலும் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கின்றனர்.

and they have already come upon the town which was showered with a rain of evil. so have they not seen it? but they are not expecting resurrection.
இன்னும்; நிச்சயமாக இ(ந்நிராகரிப்ப)வர்கள் ஒரு தீமையான (கல்) மாரி பொழிவிக்கப்பட்ட ஊருக்குச் சென்றிருக்கிறார்கள் - அதனையும் இவர்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? எனினும் (மரணத்திற்குப் பின் உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்பப்படுவதை இவர்கள் நம்பவேயில்லை.
