புதியவர்களை சந்திக்கும்போது எல்லோரும் மாற்றங்கள் எதையுமே அதிகம் நம்பியதில்லை

we tell you this story for a genuine purpose. they were young people who believed in their lord and we gave them further guidance.
(நபியே!) நாம் உமக்கு அவர்களுடைய வரலாற்றை உண்மையைக் கொண்டு அறிவிக்கிறோம்; நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் இளைஞர்கள் - தங்கள் இறைவன் மீது ஈமான் கொண்டார்கள்; இன்னும் நாம் அவர்களை நேர் வழியில் அதிகப்படுத்தினோம்.

when they were seated over it
அவர்கள் அதன்பால் உட்கார்ந்திருந்த போது,

their eyes subdued, shame will cover them. they were invited to bow down when they were sound.
அவர்களுடைய பார்வைகள் கீழ் நோக்கியவையாக இருக்கும்நிலையில் இழிவு அவர்களை மூடிக் கொள்ளும்; அவர்களோ (உலகில்) திடமாக இருந்த போது, ஸுஜூது செய்யுமாறு அழைக்கப்பட்டுக் கொண்டுதானிருந்தனர். (ஆனால் அப்போது அலட்சியமாக இருந்தனர்.)

when they were sitting at its edge.
அவர்கள் அதன்பால் உட்கார்ந்திருந்த போது,

it is he who has fed them when they were hungry
இவ்வீட்டின் (கஅபாவின்) இறைவனை அவர்கள் வணங்குவார்களாக.

their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished.
அவர்களுடைய பார்வைகள் கீழ் நோக்கியவையாக இருக்கும்நிலையில் இழிவு அவர்களை மூடிக் கொள்ளும்; அவர்களோ (உலகில்) திடமாக இருந்த போது, ஸுஜூது செய்யுமாறு அழைக்கப்பட்டுக் கொண்டுதானிருந்தனர். (ஆனால் அப்போது அலட்சியமாக இருந்தனர்.)

and we made from among them leaders guiding by our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of our signs.
இன்னும் அவர்கள் பொறுமையுடனிருந்து, நம் வசனங்களை உறுதியாக நம்பி ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட போது, நம்முடைய கட்டளைப்படி நேர்வழி காட்டும் தலைவர்களை - இமாம்களை - அவர்களில் நின்றும் உண்டாக்கினோம்.

and we made of them imams to guide by our command when they were patient, and they were certain of our communications.
இன்னும் அவர்கள் பொறுமையுடனிருந்து, நம் வசனங்களை உறுதியாக நம்பி ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட போது, நம்முடைய கட்டளைப்படி நேர்வழி காட்டும் தலைவர்களை - இமாம்களை - அவர்களில் நின்றும் உண்டாக்கினோம்.

and certainly we did destroy generations before you when they were unjust, and their apostles had come to them with clear arguments, and they would not believe; thus do we recompense the guilty people.
(மனிதர்களே!) உங்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்த எத்தனையோ தலைமுறையினர்களை, அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்த போது நிச்சயமாக நாம் அழித்திருக்கின்றோம்; அவர்களிடம் அவர்களுடைய (இறை) தூதர்கள் தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்; எனினும் அவர்கள் நம்பவில்லை - குற்றம் செய்யும் மக்களுக்கு நாம் இவ்வாறு கூலி கொடுக்கின்றோம்.

and we had already destroyed generations before you when they wronged, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe. thus do we recompense the criminal people
(மனிதர்களே!) உங்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்த எத்தனையோ தலைமுறையினர்களை, அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்த போது நிச்சயமாக நாம் அழித்திருக்கின்றோம்; அவர்களிடம் அவர்களுடைய (இறை) தூதர்கள் தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்; எனினும் அவர்கள் நம்பவில்லை - குற்றம் செய்யும் மக்களுக்கு நாம் இவ்வாறு கூலி கொடுக்கின்றோம்.

when they were given a healthy son, they began to love him as much as they loved god. god is too exalted to be loved equally to anything else.
அவர்களுக்கு (அவர்கள் விருப்பப்படி) நல்ல குழந்தையை அவன் கொடுத்தவுடன், அவர்களுக்கு அவன் கொடுத்ததில் அவ்விருவரும் அவனுக்கு இணைகளைக் கற்பிக்கின்றனர் - இவர்கள் இணை வைப்பதை விட்டும் அல்லாஹ் தூய்மையானவன்."

and in thamud, when they were told, ‘enjoy for a while.’
மேலும் 'ஸமூது' (சமூகத்தாரிலும் ஒரு படிப்பினை இருக்கிறது); "ஒரு காலம் சுகம் அனுபவியுங்கள்" என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டபோது

for they, when they were told that there is no god except allah, would puff themselves up with pride,
"அல்லாஹ்வைத்தவிர நாயன் இல்லை" என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டால், மெய்யாகவே அவர்கள் பெருமையடித்தவர்களாக இருந்தனர்.

(tell them): “i had no knowledge of the high council when they were disputing.
"மேலான கூட்டத்தார் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டது பற்றி எனக்கு ஒன்றும் தெரியாது.

he has caused hypocrisy to be in their hearts till the day they meet him, because they have changed what they promised allah and because they were liars.
எனவே, அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடம் செய்த வாக்குறுதிக்கு மாறு செய்ததாலும்; அவர்கள் பொய் சொல்லிக் கொண்டே இருந்ததினாலும் அல்லாஹ், அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களில் தன்னைச் சந்திக்கும் (இறுதி) நாள் வரையில் நயவஞ்சகத்தைப் போட்டுவிட்டான்.

so as a consequence he put hypocrisy into their hearts, until the day they meet him, for that they failed god in that they promised him and they were liars.
எனவே, அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடம் செய்த வாக்குறுதிக்கு மாறு செய்ததாலும்; அவர்கள் பொய் சொல்லிக் கொண்டே இருந்ததினாலும் அல்லாஹ், அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களில் தன்னைச் சந்திக்கும் (இறுதி) நாள் வரையில் நயவஞ்சகத்தைப் போட்டுவிட்டான்.

and we appointed, from amongst them, leaders guiding others by our command, when they had persevered, and of our signs they were convinced.
இன்னும் அவர்கள் பொறுமையுடனிருந்து, நம் வசனங்களை உறுதியாக நம்பி ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட போது, நம்முடைய கட்டளைப்படி நேர்வழி காட்டும் தலைவர்களை - இமாம்களை - அவர்களில் நின்றும் உண்டாக்கினோம்.

and when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, we saved those who had forbidden evil and seized those who wronged, with a wretched punishment, because they were defiantly disobeying.
அவர்கள் எது குறித்து உபதேசிக்கப் பட்டார்களோ, அதனை அவர்கள் மறந்து விட்டபோது, அவர்களைத் தீமையைவிட்டு விலக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தவர்களை நாம் காப்பாற்றினோம்; வரம்பு மீறி அக்கிரமம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவர்களுக்கு, அவர்கள் செய்து வந்த பாவத்தின் காரணமாக கடுமையான வேதனையைக் கொடுத்தோம்.

and when they forgot that whereof they had been reminded, we rescued those who forbade wrong, and visited those who did wrong with dreadful punishment because they were evil-livers.
அவர்கள் எது குறித்து உபதேசிக்கப் பட்டார்களோ, அதனை அவர்கள் மறந்து விட்டபோது, அவர்களைத் தீமையைவிட்டு விலக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தவர்களை நாம் காப்பாற்றினோம்; வரம்பு மீறி அக்கிரமம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவர்களுக்கு, அவர்கள் செய்து வந்த பாவத்தின் காரணமாக கடுமையான வேதனையைக் கொடுத்தோம்.
