"நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால் (வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட) அந்த வெற்றித் (தீர்ப்பு நாள்) எப்பொழுது (வரும்)?" என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்.

ஐந்தாவது முறை, "அவன் உண்மையாளர்களிலுள்ளவனானால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடைய கோபம் தன்மீது உண்டாவதாக என்றும் (அவள் கூற வேண்டும்).

they said: swear one to anot her by god that we shall surely fall upon him and his household by night and thereafter we shall surely say unto his heir; we witnessed not the destruction of his household, and verily we are truthtellers.
அவர்கள்; "நாம் அவரையும் (ஸாலிஹையும்), அவருடைய குடும்பத்தாரையும் இரவோடிரவாக திட்டமாக அழித்து விடுவோம்; (இதனை யாரிடமும் சொல்வதில்லை) என்று நாம் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது சத்தியம் செய்து கொள்வோமாக!" பிறகு அவருடைய வாரிஸ்தாரிடம் (அவர்கள் பழிக்குப்பழி வாங்க வந்தால்) "உங்கள் குடும்பத்தார் அழிக்கப்பட்டதை நாங்கள் காணவேயில்லை நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் உண்மையாளர்கள்" என்று திட்டமாகக் கூறிவிடலாம் (எனச் சதி செய்தார்கள்).

for come ye not in unto males, and cut ye not the road (for travellers), and commit ye not abomination in your meetings? but the answer of his folk was only that they said: bring allah's doom upon us if thou art a truthteller!
நீங்கள் ஆண்களிடம் (மோகம் கொண்டு) வருகிறீர்களா? வழி மறி(த்துப் பிராயாணிகளைக் கொள்ளையடி)க்கவும் செய்கின்றீர்கள்; உங்களுடைய சபையிலும் வெறுக்கத்தக்கவற்றைச் செய்கின்றீர்கள்" என்று கூறினார்; அதற்கு அவருடைய சமூகத்தாரின் பதில்; "நீர் உண்மையாளரில் (ஒருவராக) இருப்பின் எங்கள் மீது அல்லாஹ்வின் வேதனையைக் கொண்டு வருவீருhக" என்பது தவிர வேறு எதுவுமில்லை.
