among the believers there are men who have been true to their covenant with allah. some have fulfilled their vow dying, and others await, unyielding tochange,
முஃமின்களில் நின்றுமுள்ள மனிதர்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடம் அவர்கள் செய்துள்ள வாக்குறுதியில் உண்மையாக நடந்து கொண்டார்கள்; அவர்களில் சிலர் (ஷஹீதாக வேண்டும் என்ற) தம் இலட்சியத்தையும் அடைந்தார்கள்; வேறு சிலர் (ஆர்வத்துடன் அதை) எதிர் பார்த்துக் கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்கள் - (எந்த நிலைமையிலும்) அவர்கள் தங்கள் வாக்குறுதியிலிருந்து சிறிதும் மாறுபடவில்லை.

o prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.
நபியே! காஃபிர்களுடனும், முனாஃபிக்குகளுடனும் நீர் அறப்போர் செய்வீராக மேலும் அவர்களை கண்டிப்பாக நடத்துவீராக (மறுமையில்) அவர்களுடைய புகலிடம் நரகமே - தங்குமிடங்களிலெல்லாம் அது மிகவும் கெட்டது.

believers, if any among you renounce the faith, god will replace them by others who love him and are loved by him, who will be kind and considerate towards believers and firm and unyielding towards those who deny the truth. they will strive hard for the cause of god and will in no way take to heart the reproaches of the fault finder. such is god's bounty, which he gives to anyone he wishes. god is bountiful and all-knowing.
முஃமின்களே! உங்களில் எவரேனும் தன் மார்க்கத்தைவிட்டு மாறிவிட்டால் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அதனால் நஷ்டமில்லை) அப்பொழுது அல்லாஹ் வேறு ஒரு கூட்டத்தாரைக் கொண்டு வருவான்;. அவன் அவர்களை நேசிப்பான்;. அவனை அவர்களும் நேசிப்பார்கள்;. அவர்கள் முஃமின்களிடம் பணிவாக நடந்து கொள்வார்கள்;. காஃபிர்களிடம் கடுமையாக இருப்பார்கள்;. அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் போர் செய்வார்கள்;. நிந்தனை செய்வோரின் நிந்தனைக்கு அஞ்சமாட்டார்கள்;. இது அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடையாகும்;. இதை அவன் நாடியவருக்குக் கொடுக்கின்றான்;. அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் விசாலமானவனும் (எல்லாம்) நன்கறிந்தவனுமாக இருக்கின்றான்.
