he said: o iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom i created with my two hands? are you proud or are you of the exalted ones?
"இப்லீஸே! நான் என்னுடைய கைகளால் படைத்தவருக்கு ஸுஜூது செய்வதை விட்டும் உன்னைத்தடுத்தது எது? பெருமையடிக்கிறாயா? அல்லது நீ உயர்ந்தவர்களில் (ஒருவனாக) ஆகிவிட்டாயா?" என்று (அல்லாஹ்) கேட்டான்.

but if they turn back, say: "i have proclaimed the message to you all alike and in truth; but i know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far.
ஆனால், அவர்கள் புறக்கணித்து விடுவார்களாயின் "நான் உங்கள் (எல்லோருக்கும்) சமமாக அறிவித்துவிட்டேன்; இன்னும், உங்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கப் பட்ட (வேதனையான)து சமீபத்திலிருக்கிறதா அல்லது தூரத்தில் இருக்கிறதா என்பதை நான் அறியமாட்டேன்" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் சொல்லிவிடுவீராக.

the prophet is more caring of the believers than they are of themselves, and his wives are mothers to them. and blood-relatives are closer to one another in god’s book than the believers or the emigrants, though you should do good to your friends. that is inscribed in the book.
இந்த நபி முஃமின்களுக்கு அவர்களுடைய உயிர்களைவிட மேலானவராக இருக்கின்றார் இன்னும், அவருடைய மனைவியர் அவர்களுடைய தாய்மார்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். (ஒரு முஃமினின் சொத்தை அடைவதற்கு) மற்ற முஃமின்களை விடவும், (தீனுக்காக நாடு துறந்த) முஹாஜிர்களை விடவும் சொந்த பந்துக்களே சிலரைவிட சிலர் நெருங்கிய (பாத்தியதையுடைய)வர்களாவார்கள்; இது தான் அல்லாஹ்வின் வேதத்திலுள்ளது என்றாலும், நீங்கள் உங்கள் நண்பர்களுக்கு நன்மை செய்ய நாடினால் (முறைப்படி செய்யலாம்) இது வேதத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளதாகும்.

eavesdropping for telling lies, earning through unlawful means! so, if they come to you, judge between them or decline. and if you decline, they can do you no harm; but if you judge, you should do so with justice, for god loves those who are just.
அன்றியும், இவர்கள் பொய்யையே அதிகமாகக் கேட்போராகவும், விலக்கப் பட்ட பொருட்களையே விழுங்குவோராகவும் இருக்கின்றனர். (நபியே!) இவர்கள் உம்மிடம் வந்தால், இவர்களுக்கிடையே தீர்ப்பு வழங்கும்;. அல்லது இவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்து விடும். அப்படி இவர்களை நீர் புறக்கணித்து விடுவீராயினும், இவர்கள் உமக்கு யாதொரு தீங்கும் செய்ய முடியாது. ஆனால், நீர் (இவர்களிடையே) தீர்ப்பளிப்பீராயின் நியாயமாகவே அவர்களிடையில் தீர்ப்பளிப்பீராக. ஏனெனில் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீதிமான்களையே நேசிக்கின்றான்.

(you should do this) so that the people of the book know that they have no control over allah's bounty, and that all bounty is in allah's hand; he bestows it on whomsoever he pleases. allah is the lord of abounding bounty.
அல்லாஹ்வுடைய அருள் கொடையிலிருந்து யாதொன்றையும் பெறத் தாங்கள் சக்தியுடையவர்களல்லர் என்று வேதத்தை உடையவர்கள் எண்ணிக் கொள்ளாதிருக்கும் பொருட்டே (இவற்றை அவன் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கின்றான்) அன்றியும் அருள் கொடையெல்லாம் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் கையிலேயே இருக்கின்றது, தான் விரும்பியவர்களுக்கு அதனை அவன் அளிக்கின்றான் - அல்லாஹ்வே மகத்தான கிருபையுடையவன்.
