anyone who kills a believer by mistake should free a believing slave and pay blood money to the victim's relatives unless they forego it as an act of charity. if the victim belongs to a people at war with you, but is a believer, then the compensation is to free a believing slave.
Ва ҳар кас, ки мӯьминеро ба хато бикушад, бояд ки бандае мӯъминро озод кунад ва хунбаҳояшро ба хонаводааш таслим кунад, магар он, ки хунбаҳоро бибахшанд.

anyone who kills a believer by mistake should set free a believing slave, and pay blood-money to his family, unless they remit it in charity. if he belongs to a people that are hostile to you but is a believer, then a believing slave is to be set free.

and do not kill anyone which allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. and whoever is killed (intentionally with hostility and oppression and not by mistake), we have given his heir the authority [(to demand qisas, law of equality in punishment or to forgive, or to take diya (blood money)].
