Пас шайтон он дуро ба хато водошт ва аз биҳиште, ки дар он буданд, берун ронд.

as such we tempted them (the people) because they had done wrong.
Инҳоро, ки мардуме нофармон буданд, инчунин меозмудем!

Ҳорун низ пеш аз ин ба онҳо гуфта буд: «Эй қавми ман, шуморо ба ин гӯсола озмудаанд.

Пас шайтон он дуро ба хато водошт ва аз биҳиште, ки дар он буданд, берун ронд.

Гуфт: «Мо қавми туро пас аз ту озмоиш кардем ва Сомирӣ гумроҳашон сохт».

and assuredly we have tempted those who were before them. so allah will surely know those who are true and he will surely know the liars.
Албатта мардумеро, ки пеш аз онҳо буданд, озмудем, то Худо касонеро, ки рост гуфтаанд, маълум дорад ва дурӯғгӯёнро ҷудо кунад.

Гуфт: «На, нафси шумо кореро дар назаратон биёрост ва маро сабри ҷамил беҳтар аст.

(when he heard this), jacob said, "your souls have tempted you to make up the whole story.
Гуфт: «На, нафси шумо кореро дар назаратон биёрост ва маро сабри ҷамил беҳтар аст.

and they brought his shirt with false blood on it. he said, 'no; but your spirits tempted you to do somewhat.
Ҷомаашро, ки ба хуни дурӯғин оғушта буд, оварданд, гуфт: «Нафси шумо кореро дар назаратон биёроста аст.

then satan tempted him. he said, ‘o adam! shall i show you the tree of immortality, and an imperishable kingdom?’
Шайтон васвасааш карду гуфт: «Эй Одам, оё туро ба дарахти ҷовидонӣ ва мулки дурнашаванда роҳ бинамоям?»

'no' he (jacob) said, 'your souls have tempted you to do something. but come sweet patience.
Гуфт: «На, нафси шумо кореро дар назаратон биёрост ва маро сабри ҷамил беҳтар аст.

but then satan tempted him by saying: "o adam, should i show you the tree of immortality, and a kingdom that will never know any wane?"
Шайтон васвасааш карду гуфт: «Эй Одам, оё туро ба дарахти ҷовидонӣ ва мулки дурнашаванда роҳ бинамоям?»

"your souls have tempted you to do something evil! but it is best to be patient: god alone can help me bear the loss you speak of."
Акнун барои ман сабри ҷамил беҳтар аст ва Худост, ки дар ин бора аз ӯ ёрӣ бояд хост».

and they brought his shirt (stained) with blood, a lie. he said: 'no, your souls have tempted you to do something.
Ҷомаашро, ки ба хуни дурӯғин оғушта буд, оварданд, гуфт: «Нафси шумо кореро дар назаратон биёроста аст.

(o muhammad), they had all but tempted you away from what we have revealed to you that you may invent something else in our name. had you done so, they would have taken you as their trusted friend.
Наздик буд туро аз он чӣ бар ту ваҳй карда будем, бероҳ созанд, то чизи дигаре ғайри онро ба дурӯғ ба мо нисбат кунӣ, он гоҳ бо ту дӯстӣ кунанд.
