Ва низ Иброҳимро ба паёмбарӣ фиристодем, он гоҳ ки ба мардумаш гуфт: «Худои якторо бипарастед ва аз Ӯ битарсед. Ин бароятон беҳтар аст, агар мардуме доно бошед.

that ye believe in allah and his messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the cause of allah, with your property and your persons: that will be best for you, if ye but knew!
Ба Худову паёмбараш имон биёваред ва дар роҳи Худо бо молу ҷони худ ҷиҳод кунед. Ва ин барои шумо беҳтар аст, агар доно бошед.

give just measure and weight, nor withhold from the people the things that are their due; and do no mischief on the earth after it has been set in order: that will be best for you, if ye have faith.
Паймонаву тарозуро расо адо кунед ва ба мардум кам мафурӯшед ва аз он пас, ки замин ба салоҳ омадааст, дар он фасод макунед, ки агар имон овардаед, ин бароятон беҳтар аст!

and (we also saved) abraham: behold, he said to his people, "serve allah and fear him: that will be best for you- if ye understand!
Ва низ Иброҳимро ба паёмбарӣ фиристодем, он гоҳ ки ба мардумаш гуфт: «Худои якторо бипарастед ва аз Ӯ битарсед. Ин бароятон беҳтар аст, агар мардуме доно бошед.

(o unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall we. not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily allah is with those who believe!
Агар пирӯзӣ хоҳед, пирӯзиятон фаро расид ва агар аз куфр бозистед, бароятон беҳтар аст ва агар бозгардед, бозмегардем ва сипоҳи шумо ҳарчанд фаровон бошад, бароятон нафъе нахоҳад дошт, ки Ху до бо мӯъминон аст.
