know ye not that ye are the temple of god, and that the spirit of god dwelleth in you?
anazi na ukuba niyitempile kathixo? anazi na ukuba umoya kathixo umi ngaphakathi kwenu?

judge not, that ye be not judged.
musani ukugweba, ukuze ningagwetywa.

fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
musani ukoyika ngoko; nibagqithile oongqatyana abaninzi nina.

by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
ngayo le nto baya kwazi bonke, ukuba ningabafundi bam, ukuba nithe nathandana.

your glorying is not good. know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
iqhayiya lenu alilihle! anazi na ukuba igwele elincinane libilisa intlama iphela?

and he said unto them, know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
athi kubo, aniwazi na lo mzekeliso? nothini na ke ukuyazi imizekeliso yonke?

know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? so run, that ye may obtain.
anazi na, ukuba abo babalekayo elugqatsweni, babaleka bonke okunene, kodwa ke mnye owamkelayo umvuzo? balekani ngokunjalo ke, ukuze nizuze.

know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into jesus christ were baptized into his death?
anazi na ukuba thina sonke, sabhaptizelwayo kukristu yesu, sabhaptizelwa ekufeni kwakhe?

i have said, ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most high.
ndithe mna, ningoothixo, ningoonyana bosenyangweni nonke niphela.

know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
anazi na ukuba lowo nizinikela kuye ukuba ngabakhonzi bokumlulamela, ningabakhonzi ngoku kulowo nimlulamelayo: nokokuba ningabesono, nisingise ekufeni, nokokuba ningabolulamo, nisingise ebulungiseni?

and the king said unto his servants, know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in israel?
wathi ukumkani kubakhonzi bakhe, anazi na, ukuba namhlanje kuwe umthetheli, umntu omkhulu kwasirayeli?

i said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that i am he, ye shall die in your sins.
ndatsho ngoko kuni ukuthi, niya kufela ezonweni zenu; kuba ekubeni nithe anakholwa ukuba ndinguye, niya kufela ezonweni zenu.

and when they came to reuel their father, he said, how is it that ye are come so soon to day?
zakufika kurehuweli uyise, wathi, nitheni na namhlanje ukuhle nifike?

and joshua said unto the people, ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the lord, to serve him. and they said, we are witnesses.
wathi uyoshuwa kubo abantu, ningamangqina ngakuni, ukuba nina nizinyulele uyehova ukuba nimkhonze. bathi, singamangqina.

examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. know ye not your own selves, how that jesus christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
zilingeni, ukuba niselukholweni olu na; zicikideni ngokwenu. okanye anizazi na ukuba uyesu kristu ungaphakathi kwenu? ukuba okunene aningabo abo bangenakucikideka.

not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
ningabuyekezi ububi ngobubi, nokutshabhisa ngokutshabhisa; kanye ke sikelelani, nisazi ukuba nabizelwa oku, ukuze niyidle ilifa intsikelelo.

know ye not what i and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?
aniyazi na into endayenzayo, mna noobawo, ezizweni zonke zamazwe la? baba nako nokuba nako na oothixo beentlanga zamazwe la, ukuwahlangula amazwe azo esandleni sam?

and he said unto them, how is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that i must be about my father's business?
wathi kubo, benindifunela ntoni na? beningazi na ukuba ndimelwe kukuba ndibe semicimbini kabawo?

defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
musani ukwala ukuhlangana, ningathanga nibe nivumelene okomzuzwana, ukuze ke nibe nethuba lokuzila ukudla nelokuthandaza; nibuye nihlangane ndawonye, ukuze anganihendi usathana ngenxa yentswela-kuzeyisa kwenu.

and this i speak for your own profit; not that i may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the lord without distraction.
oku ke ndikuthetha ndisingisele kokunilungeleyo, ndingenzeli kunirhintyela; ndikuthethela ukuba nizibeke, nihlale nihleli kakuhle enkosini, ningakruthakrutheki.
