thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

he that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
ophuthuma ubulungisa nenceba wofumana ubomi nobulungisa nozuko.

(for the fruit of the spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
kuba sona isiqhamo somoya sikuko konke ukulunga, nobulungisa, nenyaniso;

they shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
bompompoza isikhumbuzo sokulunga kwakho okukhulu, bamemelele ngobulungisa bakho.

oh that men would praise the lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

for he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of god leadeth thee to repentance?
okanye uyabudela na ubutyebi bobubele bakhe, nonyamezelo, nokuzeka kade umsindo; ungazi ukuba ububele bukathixo bukusa enguqukweni?

for how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
kuba kungakanani na ukulunga kwabo, bungakanani na ubuhle babo! ingqolowa iya konwabisa umlisela, iwayini entsha iwonwabise umthinjana.

and the lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, the lord, the lord god, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
uyehova wadlula ebusweni bakhe, wavakalisa esithi, uyehova, uyehova, uthixo onemfesane, onobabalo, ozeka kade umsindo, omninzi ngenceba nenyaniso;

and said, i beseech thee, o lord god of heaven, the great and terrible god, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:
ndathi, camagu, yehova, thixo wamazulu, thixo omkhulu, owoyikekayo, obagcinelayo umnqophiso nenceba abamthandayo, abayigcinayo imithetho yakhe.

my goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom i trust; who subdueth my people under me.
unceba yam, umboniselo yam, ungxonde yam, umsindisi wam, mna lo; ungweletshetshe yam, undizimela ngaye; ulonyathelela abantu bam phantsi kwam.

and he said, lord god of israel, there is no god like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
wathi: yehova thixo kasirayeli, akukho unjengawe, ezulwini phezulu nasemhlabeni phantsi, ubagcinelayo umnqophiso nenceba abakhonzi bakho abahamba phambi kwakho ngentliziyo yabo yonke;

and i prayed unto the lord my god, and made my confession, and said, o lord, the great and dreadful god, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
ndathandaza ke kuyehova uthixo wam, ndavuma ndathi, awu! nkosi, thixo omkhulu owoyikekayo, obagcinela umnqophiso nenceba abo bamthandayo, bayigcinayo imithetho yakhe,

behold therefore the goodness and severity of god: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
khawububone ke ububele nobukhali bukathixo; ubukhali okunene kwabo bawayo; kodwa kuwe, ububele, ukuba uthe wahlala kobo bubele; okanye wogawulwa nawe lo.

if there be therefore any consolation in christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
ukuba ke ngoko kukho usizo kukristu, ukuba kukho ukhuzo lothando, ukuba kukho ubudlelane bomoya,

for thus saith the lord, enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for i have taken away my peace from this people, saith the lord, even lovingkindness and mercies.
ngokuba utsho uyehova ukuthi, musa ukungena endlwini yesijwili, ungayi kumbambazela, ungabakhuzi; ngokuba ndilususile kwaba bantu uxolo lwam, inceba nemfesane yam; utsho uyehova.
