così se ne va, e strada facendo, vede sulla strada una penna da scrivere. dapprima vuole raccoglierla, ma poi pensa: "oh, lasciala stare! una penna da scrivere la trovi ovunque se ne hai bisogno." mentre si allontana sente una voce che gli grida: -fernando fedele, prendila con te!-. egli si volta ma non vede nessuno, allora torna indietro e raccoglie la penna. dopo aver cavalcato un po', passa vicino a un fiume, e sulla riva c'è un pesce che boccheggia.
