offer unto god thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most high:

og enda alle disse fikk vidnesbyrd for sin tro, opnådde de ikke det som var lovt,
and these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

og nu, herre, du er gud, og du har lovt din tjener denne lykke.
and now, lord, thou art god, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:

og dette skal du ha til tegn fra herren på at herren vil holde det han nu har lovt:
and this shall be a sign unto thee from the lord, that the lord will do this thing that he hath spoken;

bygg eder da byer for eders kvinner og barn og hegn for eders småfe, og gjør som i har lovt!
build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which hath proceeded out of your mouth.

og når i kommer inn i det land herren skal gi eder, således som han har lovt, da skal i holde denne tjeneste.
and it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the lord will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

og jeg sender over eder det som min fader har lovt; men i skal bli i byen inntil i blir iklædd kraft fra det høie.
