اور آپ اپنا رخ بالکل دین کی طرف رکھیں. باطل سے الگ رہیں اور ہرگز مشرکین کی جماعت میں شمار نہ ہوں
"and (it is inspired to me): direct your face (o muhammad saw) entirely towards the religion hanifa (islamic monotheism, i.e. to worship none but allah alone), and never be one of the mushrikun (those who ascribe partners to allah, polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers in the oneness of allah, and those who worship others along with allah).

اور کہتے ہیں ہمارے دل اس بات سے کہ جس کی طرف تو ہمیں بلاتا ہے پردوں میں ہیں اور ہمارے کانوں میں بوجھ ہے اور ہمارے اور آپ کے درمیان پردہ پڑا ہوا ہے پھر آپ اپنا کام کیے جائیں ہم بھی اپنا کام کر رہے ہیں
and say: "our hearts are immured against what you call us to. there is a deafness in our ears, and a veil lies between us and you. so act (your way), we are acting (ours)."

اور آپ اپنا بازوئے (رحمت و شفقت) ان مومنوں کے لئے بچھا دیجئے جنہوں نے آپ کی پیروی اختیار کر لی ہے،
and be kind and humble to the believers who follow you.

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ آپ(ص) جس چیز کی طرف ہمیں دعوت دیتے ہیں اس سے ہمارے دلوں پر غلاف چڑھے ہوئے ہیں اور ہمارے کانوں میں گرانی ہے اور ہمارے تمہارے درمیان پردہ حائل ہے آپ اپنا کام کیجئے ہم اپنا کام کر رہے ہیں۔
and say: "our hearts are immured against what you call us to. there is a deafness in our ears, and a veil lies between us and you. so act (your way), we are acting (ours)."
