پروردگار مجھے اور میری ذریت میں نماز قائم کرنے والے قرار دے اور پروردگار میری دعا کو قبول کرلے
"o my lord! make me one who performs as-salat (iqamat-as-salat), and (also) from my offspring, our lord! and accept my invocation.

میں اب بھی کمپیوٹر کے سامنے اپنے ارادے سے کہیں زیادہ وقت گزارتی ہوں اور کہیں کم کتب پڑھتی ہوں۔ مجھے ہر روز اپنے اندر کا سکون تلاش کرنے کا جو موقع ملتا ہے وہ بہت اچھا لگتا ہے بجائے اس کے کہ دوسروں کی وجہ سے بلاوجہ کہ کاموں میں مشغول ہو جانا۔
i still spend much more time in front of computers than i wish i did, and have read fewer books than i've hoped to, but it's wonderful to meditate every day and explore my precious inner space, instead of getting distracted by others.

دن کے دونوں سروں میں نماز برپا رکھ اور رات کی کئی ساعتوں میں بھی، یقیناً نیکیاں برائیوں کو دور کر دیتی ہیں۔ یہ نصیحت ہے نصیحت پکڑنے والوں کے لئے
and establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. that is a reminder for those who remember.

خبردار آپ اس مسجد میں کبھی کھڑے بھی نہ ہوں بلکہ جس مسجد کی بنیاد روز اوّل سے تقوٰیٰ پر ہے وہ اس قابل ہے کہ آپ اس میں نماز ادا کریں -اس میں وہ مرد بھی ہیں جو طہارت کو دوست رکھتے ہیں اور خدا بھی پاکیزہ افراد سے محبت کرتا ہے
(muhammad), never stay in that mosque. the mosque which was established for a pious purpose and before all other mosques is more virtuous for your prayer. in this mosque, there are people who love to be purified. god loves those who purify themselves.

اور آپ دن کے دونوں کناروں میں اور رات کے کچھ حصوں میں نماز قائم کیجئے۔ بیشک نیکیاں برائیوں کو مٹا دیتی ہیں۔ یہ نصیحت قبول کرنے والوں کے لئے نصیحت ہے،

(اے نبی) دن کے دونوں کناروں (صبح و شام) اور رات کے کچھ حصوں میں نماز قائم کریں بے شک نیکیاں برائیوں کو دور کر دیتی ہیں یہ نصیحت ہے ان لوگوں کیلئے جو نصیحت حاصل کرتے ہیں۔
