and it came to pass on the day when the lord spake unto moses in the land of egypt,

evo doæi æe sedam godina vrlo rodnih svoj zemlji misirskoj.
behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of egypt:

ljubite dakle došljaka, jer ste bili došljaci u zemlji misirskoj.
love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of egypt.

i razidje se narod po svoj zemlji misirskoj da èupa strnjiku mesto pleve.
so the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.

kako pred oèima njihovim uèini èudesa u zemlji misirskoj, na polju soanu;
marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of egypt, in the field of zoan.

i opominji se da si bio rob u zemlji misirskoj; zato ti ja zapovedam da ovo èiniš.
and thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of egypt: therefore i command thee to do this thing.

i mojsije pruži ruku svoju k nebu, i posta gusta tama po svoj zemlji misirskoj za tri dana.
and moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of egypt three days:

došljake ne cveli, jer vi znate kakva je duša došljaku, jer ste bili došljaci u zemlji misirskoj.
also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of egypt.

a ja æu uèiniti da otvrdne srce faraonu, te æu umnožiti znake svoje i èudesa svoja u zemlji misirskoj.
and i will harden pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of egypt.

a deca izrailjeva življahu u zemlji misirskoj u kraju gesemskom, i držahu ga, i narodiše se i namnožiše se veoma.
and israel dwelt in the land of egypt, in the country of goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

i još reèe faraon josifu: ja sam faraon, ali bez tebe neæe niko maæi ruke svoje ni noge svoje u svoj zemlji misirskoj.
and pharaoh said unto joseph, i am pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of egypt.

i pomreše ribe što behu u reci, i usmrde se reka tako da ne mogahu misirci piti vode iz reke, i beše krv po svoj zemlji misirskoj.
and the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of egypt.

u to æe vreme biti pet gradova u zemlji misirskoj koji æe govoriti jezikom hananskim i zaklinjati se gospodom nad vojskama; jedan æe se zvati grad aheres.
in that day shall five cities in the land of egypt speak the language of canaan, and swear to the lord of hosts; one shall be called, the city of destruction.

pa uzmite oca svog i èeljad svoju, i dodjite k meni, i daæu vam najbolje što ima u zemlji misirskoj, i ješæete najbolje obilje ove zemlje.
and take your father and your households, and come unto me: and i will give you the good of the land of egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land.

a josif naseli oca svog i braæu svoju, i dade im dobro u zemlji misirskoj na najboljem mestu te zemlje, u zemlji rameskoj, kao što zapovedi faraon.
and joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of rameses, as pharaoh had commanded.

i gospod reèe mojsiju: pruži ruku svoju k nebu, neka udari grad po svoj zemlji misirskoj, na ljude i na stoku i na sve bilje po polju u zemlji misirskoj.
and the lord said unto moses, stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of egypt.

evo, ja æu paziti na njih zla radi, ne dobra radi, i judejci koji su u zemlji misirskoj, svi æe ginuti od maèa i od gladi, dokle ih ne bude ni jednog.
behold, i will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of judah that are in the land of egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.

a krv ona biæe vam znak na kuæama, u kojima æete biti; i kad vidim krv, proæi æu vas, te neæe biti medju vama pomora, kad stanem ubijati po zemlji misirskoj.
and the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when i see the blood, i will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when i smite the land of egypt.

jer kad otvrdnu faraon, te nas ne hte pustiti, pobi gospod sve prvence u zemlji misirskoj od prvenca èoveèjeg do prvenca od stoke; zato prinosim gospodu sve muško što otvara matericu, a svakog prvenca sinova svojih otkupljujem.
and it came to pass, when pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the lord slew all the firstborn in the land of egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore i sacrifice to the lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children i redeem.

i gospod reèe mojsiju: reci aronu: uzmi štap svoj, i pruži ruku svoju na vode misirske, na potoke, na reke i na jezera njihova i na sva zborišta voda njihovih; i premetnuæe se u krv, i biæe krv po svoj zemlji misirskoj, i po sudima drvenim i kamenim.
and the lord spake unto moses, say unto aaron, take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.
