among the desert-arabs around you there are some hypocrites, and among the inhabitants of medina too.

lakini walio bobea katika ilimu miongoni mwao, na waumini, wanayaamini uliyo teremshiwa wewe, na yaliyo teremshwa kabla yako.
but those firm in knowledge among them and the believers believe in what has been revealed to you, [o muhammad], and what was revealed before you.

na katika mabedui walio jirani zenu wamo wanaafiki; na katika wenyeji wa madina pia wapo walio bobea katika unaafiki. wewe huwajui.
and among the bedouins round about you, some are hypocrites, and so are some among the people of al-madinah, they exaggerate and persist in hypocrisy, you (o muhammad saw) know them not, we know them.

lakini walio bobea katika ilimu miongoni mwao, na waumini, wanayaamini uliyo teremshiwa wewe, na yaliyo teremshwa kabla yako. na wanao shika sala, na wakatoa zaka, na wanao muamini mwenyezi mungu na siku ya mwisho - hao tutawapa malipo makubwa.
but as for those who are firmly grounded in knowledge from among them, and the faithful, they believe in what has been sent down to you, and what was sent down before you—those who maintain the prayer, give the zakat, and believe in allah and the last day—them we shall give a great reward.
