utsädespotatisen får införas i unionen endast via följande hamnar:
the seed potatoes may only be introduced into the union via the following ports:

seed potatoes are placed on the market in accordance with article 2 of this decision.

den berörda medlemsstaten skall tillåta leverantören att släppa ut utsädespotatisen på marknaden, utom i de fall då
the member state concerned shall authorise the supplier to place that seed potato on the market, unless:

utsädespotatisen skall första gången ha släppts ut på marknaden i enlighet med artikel 2 i detta beslut.
seed potatoes have been placed on the market in accordance with article 2 of this decision.

i vilket område leverantören kan leverera utsädet eller utsädespotatisen till användaren inom den tid som vanligen behövs för leveransen.
the area where the supplier can deliver the seed or seed potatoes to the user in the usual time needed for the delivery;

genom tester av tidigare generationer inklusive det ursprungliga klonurvalet och systematiska tester av det ursprungliga klonurvalet av utsädespotatisen, eller
by testing of the earlier propagations, including the initial clonal selection and systematic testing of basic seed potato clones; or

denna restriktion ska dock inte gälla slutliga användare som odlar den importerade utsädespotatisen eller användare som endast säljer på den lokala marknaden.
however, this restriction shall not apply in the case of final users planting the imported seed potatoes or for users who sell only onto the local market.

c) i vilket område leverantören kan leverera utsädet eller utsädespotatisen till användaren inom den tid som vanligen behövs för leveransen,
(c) the area where the supplier can deliver the seed or seed potatoes to the user in the usual time needed for the delivery;

b) utsädespotatisen skall härstamma från material som uppfyller villkoren i bilaga 1 och uppfylla de ytterligare eller strängare villkoren i bilaga 2.
(b) the seed potatoes shall derive from material satisfying the conditions laid down in annex i, and satisfy the additional or more stringent conditions laid down in annex ii.

the information in the database referred to in article 48 shall be available through the internet, free of cost, to the users of seed or seed potatoes and to the public.

the supply of seed potatoes under certain conditions to providers of services for the production of certain agricultural raw materials intended for industrial purposes, or seed propagation for that purpose, shall not be regarded as marketing, provided the provider of services does not acquire title to either the seed thus supplied or the product of the harvest.

prior to the introduction of the seed potatoes into the union, the canadian food inspection agency shall provide the commission with a complete list of the areas declared as free from the harmful organisms referred to in paragraph 2, supported by a technical report, updated each year, on the phytosanitary status of seed potato production in the previous year.
