andiwenzi nani nedwa lo mnqophiso nesi sifungo;
neither with you only do i make this covenant and this oath;

waveni amazwi alo mnqophiso, nithethe kumadoda akwayuda, nakubemi baseyerusalem;
hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of judah, and to the inhabitants of jerusalem;

wagcineni ke amazwi alo mnqophiso, niwenze, ukuze nikwenze ngengqiqo konke eniya kukwenza.
keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

uthi kubo, utsho uyehova, uthixo kasirayeli, ukuthi, mayiqalekiswe indoda engawevayo amazwi alo mnqophiso,
and say thou unto them, thus saith the lord god of israel; cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,

ukumkani wabawisela umthetho abantu bonke, wathi, yenzani ipasika kuyehova, uthixo wenu, ngoko kubhaliweyo encwadini yalo mnqophiso.
and the king commanded all the people, saying, keep the passover unto the lord your god, as it is written in the book of this covenant.

ke nina nize ningenzi mnqophiso nabemi beli lizwe; nize nizidilize izibingelelo zabo. aniliphulaphulanga ke izwi lam. yintoni na le niyenzileyo?
and ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?

ke abevanga, abayithobanga indlebe yabo; bahamba elowo ngobungqola bentliziyo yakhe enobubi. ndesuka ke ndazisa phezu kwabo onke amazwi alo mnqophiso, ndabawisela umthetho ngawo, ukuba bawenze; abawenza.
yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore i will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which i commanded them to do; but they did them not.
