« በእኔም ባታምኑ ራቁኝ » ( ተዉኝ አለ ) ፡ ፡

until , when death comes to one of them he says : ' my lord , let me go back ,
አንዳቸውንም ሞት በመጣበት ጊዜ እንዲህ ይላል « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ( ወደ ምድረ ዓለም ) መልሱኝ ፡ ፡

who, when they had examined me, would have let me go, because there was no cause of death in me.
እነርሱም መርምረው ለሞት የሚገባ ምክንያት ስላልነበረብኝ ሊፈቱኝ አሰቡ፤

“ o john , hold on to the scripture firmly , ” and we gave him wisdom in his youth .
« የሕያ ሆይ ! መጽሐፉን በጥብቅ ያዝ ! » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ ጥበብንም በሕፃንነቱ ሰጠነው ፡ ፡

save those who have faith and do righteous deeds , and counsel each other to hold on to truth and counsel each other to be steadfast .
እነዚያ ያመኑትና መልካሞችን የሠሩት ፣ በእውነትም አደራ የተባባሉት ፣ በመታገስም አደራ የተባባሉት ብቻ ሲቀሩ ፡ ፡

you are not at fault if you marry them , provided you give them their compensation . and do not hold on to ties with unbelieving women , but demand what you have spent , and let them demand what they have spent .
እላንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ምእምናት ስደተኞች ኾነው በመጧችሁ ጊዜ ( ለሃይማኖት መሰደዳቸውን ) ፈትኑዋቸው ፡ ፡ አላህ በእምነታቸው ይበልጥ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ አማኞችም መኾናቸውን ብትውቁ ወደ ከሓዲዎቹ አትመልሱዋቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( ሴቶቹ ) ለእነርሱ የተፈቀዱ አይደሉምና ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ( ወንዶቹ ) ለእነርሱ አይፈቀዱምና ፡ ፡ ያወጡትንም ገንዘብ ስጧቸው ፡ ፡ መህራቸውንም በሰጣችኋቸው ጊዜ ብታገቡዋቸው በእናንተ ላይ ኃጢአት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ የከሓዲዎቹንም ሴቶች የጋብቻ ቃል ኪዳኖች አትያዙ ፤ ያወጣችሁትንም ገንዘብ ጠይቁ ፡ ፡ ያወጡትንም ይጠይቁ ፡ ፡ ይህ የአላህ ፍርድ ነው ፡ ፡ በመካከላችሁ ይፈርዳል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

after all that time , the one of the two who had been saved remembered , he said : ' i will interpret it for you , so let me go '
ያም ከሁለቱ የዳነውና ከብዙ ጊዜ በኋላ ( ዩሱፍን ) ያስታወሰው ሰው « እኔ ፍቹን እነግራችኋለሁና ላኩኝ » አለ ፤ ( ወደ ዩሱፍ ሌደም ) ፡ ፡

saying : throw him into the ark , and throw it into the river , then the river shall throw it on to the bank , and there an enemy to me and an enemy to him shall take him . and i endued thee with love from me that thou mightest be trained according to my will ,
« ( ሕፃኑን ) በሳጥኑ ውስጥ ጣይው ፡ ፡ እርሱንም ( ሳጥኑን ) በባሕር ላይ ጣይው ፡ ፡ ባሕሩም በዳርቻው ይጣለው ፡ ፡ ለእኔ ጠላት ለእርሱም ጠላት የኾነ ሰው ይይዘዋልና በማለት ( ባሳወቅን ጊዜ ለገስንልህ ) ፡ ፡ ባንተ ላይም ከእኔ የኾነን መወደድ ጣልኩብህ ፡ ፡ ( ልትወደድና ) በእኔም ጥበቃ ታድግ ዘንድ ፡ ፡

and of the two ( prisoners ) he who had found deliverance and remembered after a long time said : i will inform you of its interpretation , so let me go :
ያም ከሁለቱ የዳነውና ከብዙ ጊዜ በኋላ ( ዩሱፍን ) ያስታወሰው ሰው « እኔ ፍቹን እነግራችኋለሁና ላኩኝ » አለ ፤ ( ወደ ዩሱፍ ሌደም ) ፡ ፡

one day pharaoh said : “ let me go and kill moses ; then let him invoke his lord . i fear that he will change your religion or cause disruption in the land . ”
ፈርዖንም « ተዉኝ ፤ ሙሳን ልግደል ፡ ፡ ጌታውንም ይጥራ ፡ ፡ ያድነው እንደኾነ ፡ ፡ እኔ ሃይማኖታችሁን ሊለውጥ ፤ ወይም በምድር ውስጥ ጥፋትን ሊያሰራጭ እፈራለሁና » አለ ፡ ፡

" yes , if you hold on to patience and piety , and the enemy comes rushing at you ; your lord will help you with five thousand angels having marks ( of distinction ) . "
« አዎን ብትታገሱና ብትጠነቀቁ ከዚህም ፍጥነታቸው ( ጠላቶቻችሁ ) ቢመጡባችሁ ጌታችሁ ምልክት ባላቸው አምስት ሺህ መላእክት ይረዳችኋል ፡ ፡ »

give their unbelieving husbands whatever they have spent ( as bridal-dues ) ; and there is no offence for you to marry those women if you give them their bridal-dues . do not hold on to your marriages with unbelieving women : ask for the return of the bridal-due you gave to your unbelieving wives and the unbelievers may ask for the return of the bridal-due they had given to their believing wives .
እላንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ምእምናት ስደተኞች ኾነው በመጧችሁ ጊዜ ( ለሃይማኖት መሰደዳቸውን ) ፈትኑዋቸው ፡ ፡ አላህ በእምነታቸው ይበልጥ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ አማኞችም መኾናቸውን ብትውቁ ወደ ከሓዲዎቹ አትመልሱዋቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( ሴቶቹ ) ለእነርሱ የተፈቀዱ አይደሉምና ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ( ወንዶቹ ) ለእነርሱ አይፈቀዱምና ፡ ፡ ያወጡትንም ገንዘብ ስጧቸው ፡ ፡ መህራቸውንም በሰጣችኋቸው ጊዜ ብታገቡዋቸው በእናንተ ላይ ኃጢአት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ የከሓዲዎቹንም ሴቶች የጋብቻ ቃል ኪዳኖች አትያዙ ፤ ያወጣችሁትንም ገንዘብ ጠይቁ ፡ ፡ ያወጡትንም ይጠይቁ ፡ ፡ ይህ የአላህ ፍርድ ነው ፡ ፡ በመካከላችሁ ይፈርዳል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡
