have they not journeyed in the land that they might observe the end of those who came before them? they were even greater in strength than they and left behind more splendid traces in the land. then allah seized them because of their sins and they had none who could protect them from allah.
그들은 대지를 여행하며 그 들 이전 백성들의 말로가 어떠했 는지 보지 않느뇨 저들은 그들보 다 힘이 더 강하였고 지상에서 더 많은 영향력이 있었지만 하나 님은 그들의 죄악으로 그들을 멸망케 하니 어느 누구도 하나님에 대 항하여 그들을 보호하지 못했더라

god will not leave the believers as you are, without distinguishing the wicked from the sincere. nor will god inform you of the future, but god elects from among his messengers whom he wills. so believe in god and his messengers. if you believe and practice piety, you will have a splendid reward.
