he is the first and the last and the ascendant (over all) and the knower of hidden things, and he is cognizant of all things.
พระองค์ทรงเป็นองค์แรกและองค์สุดท้าย และทรงเปิดเผยและทรงเร้นลับ และพระองค์เป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ทุกสิ่งทุกอย่าง
and for you is half of what your wives leave if they have no child. but if they have a child, for you is one fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they [may have] made or debt. and for the wives is one fourth if you leave no child. but if you leave a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt. and if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a sixth. but if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment [caused]. [this is] an ordinance from allah, and allah is knowing and forbearing.
และสำหรับพวกเจ้านั้นจะได้รับครึ่งหนึ่งของสิ่งที่บรรดาภรรยาของพวกเจ้าได้ทิ้งไว้ หากมิได้ปรากฏว่าพวกนางมีบุตร แต้ถ้าพวกนางมีบุตรพวกเจ้าก็จะได้รับหนึ่งในสี่จากสิ่งที่พวกนางได้สั่งเสียมันไว้ หรือหลังจากหนี้สิน และสำหรับพวกนางนั้นจะได้รับหนึ่งในสี่จากสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าได้ทิ้งไว้ หากมิปรากฏว่าพวกเจ้ามีบุตร พวกนางก็จะได้รับหนึ่งในแปดจากสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าทิ้งไว้ ทั้งนี้หลังจากพินัยกรรมที่พวกเจ้าสั่งเสียมันไว้ หรือหลังจากหนี้สิน และถ้ามีชายคนหนึ่งหรือหญิงคนหนึ่งถูกรับมรดก ในฐานะเป็นผู้ที่ไม่มีบิดาและบุตร แต่เขามีพี่ชายหรือน้องชายคนหนึ่ง หรือมีพี่สาวหรือน้องสาวคนหนึ่งแล้ว แต่ละคนจากสองคนนั้น จะได้รับหนึ่งในหก แต่ถ้าพี่น้องของเขามีมากกว่านั้น พวกเขาก็เป็นผู้รับร่วมกันในหนึ่งในสาม ทั้งนี้หลังจากพินัยกรรมที่ถูกสั่งเสียไว้หรือหลังจากหนี้สินโดยมิใช่สิ่งที่นำมาซึ่งผลร้ายใด ๆ เป็นคำสั่งที่มาจากอัลลอฮฺ และอัลลอฮฺเป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ผู้ทรงหนักแน่น
